like the title says.
I'm having a hard time finding where the enemies are below me. Mostly I get sprayed by turrets and end up dying.
There also should be a resizeable mode for this game. The variety off resolution isn't much attracting.
Also this UI is way to full on my screen I am gamer that rather has less things on his screen then a bunch off useless information. (poster)
Why is the game so zoomed in...
im sad after reading that answer... but oh well.
honestly old UI was way better: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124055137
and at this day i honestly dont find HOW useful its to have the big knight portrait they at least could have keep small portrait INSTEAD THAT BIG USELESS PORTRAIT.
If I open all the tabs in the UI I won't nearly see the game... Its just way to much. Gamers rather have way less stuff In their face. They want a clear vision what is happening in the game. Also Bopp players don't have to be verry careful and precise since you have auto target/Auto aim in this game.
The game feels claustrophobic putting to much things in our faces isn't cool at all.
Bopp:Right. This is why experienced players prefer to attack from the south.
what about newcomers, Do they have to get punished by this ? There should be an option added to the game that people can choose to have more field off view.
To clarify, my comments were about the camera angle, not about the heads-up display. Like you, I wish that there were a way to simplify/reduce the HUD.
When I wrote my "careful and precise" comment, I was thinking about maneuvering through a field of spikes while dodging projectiles from turrets and retreating when other enemies come up. This situation is easy with a gun, but it's harder with only swords, and it's much harder with only bombs.
Maybe you don't have to be careful in that situation. If that's the case, then it only weakens the original argument, that the field of view is too small. You should be careful not to argue against your own position.
You can minimize all the tabs and have virtually nothing on the screen, which IMO is the only good thing about the new UI. (HP bar is still in the wrong place)
Other than that, what size is your resolution? The UI doesn't really scale, so while at low res the screen may seem cluttered at higher resolutions there is little problem and actually sometimes, the UI is too small. http://imgur.com/a/vsrkF#1
Btw, the problem you're talking about with dying from things below you is not a resolution issue (bigger resolution does not change viewable area) but rather FoV. And the vertical FoV is locked, but it changes in specific scripted places like Blast Network (Where it is critically important to se far below you) and the entrance to the Vana boss (Nightmare mode, could you imagine playing like that ;-;).

Right. This is why experienced players prefer to attack from the south.
For example, if I have to pass through a field of gun puppies protected by spikes, and I have to approach from the north, then I'm forced to be very careful and precise. That's a nice little challenge.
In general I find this kind of asymmetry charming. This game doesn't try to be too realistic, by simulating what a knight would actually see. What a delightful little game this is.
