the original image for the event had a purple reskinned demo type armor
yet the armors became raiments
I like how they look and all but it kind of irks me that they didn't use the armor on the image
I am actually dissapointed with the look of kat armors

I dunno, Dibs. If you look closely at the forearms on the promo pic, they're grey, not red.
The Bombastic Suit, however, fits more. It has a purple neck brace and grey/silver forearms.

The armors do look kind of unappealing in pallet, but the Kat Eye line actually looks pretty cool all shiny.

Hmm, I've fought worse
I only dislike the way they shine... I like better the way they look when you turn into low graphs, not because they don't look good really, just that i don't see how they fit with the rest of the gear available out there, specially the black kat armor line.

i think the 3 stars armor match more the cowls rather than the 4 o 5 stars variants. i dont mind them being raiments in fact the only raiment i like its the heavenly one (and if i dont like a armor but i use it for it stats, then thats why i use costume slot) but i dont get how you can run faster (black kat raiment) with that big skirt in your legs :P
i would have liked if the kat armors were different and related to their bonus, bomb sword and gun but well :P they are fine but still 3 stars kat armos looks way better.

Black Kat Cowl, Bombastic Demo Suit, Volcanic Bomb Bandolier, "Lake" personal color, "Determined" eyes. I don't see the difference beyond one being a screenshot and the other being a paint-over.
EDIT: I suppose as to not stray away from the original topic, I have to agree that these seem like strange fits for the kat hats. I remember while the game was patching I was poking around the patch and was surprised to find out that the cloaks were the 3* kat armors, because they seemed to be the most unique. In fact unless whiskers become easier to get I only plan on getting one of each cloak for costumes.

The non Black Kat Raiments
The non Black Kat Raiments need to have the whisker requirement removed.
As a full set, they don't have offensive bonuses that come close to BK set (No MSI, no dmg HIGH).
Sword dmg med and Asi med....yeah not even close to dmx MAX msi MED
Plus, they are dresses, which is even more lame.
Its like presenting a duelist with a slingshot or a railgun (both for the same price). The duelist would pick the railgun obviously (If he chose the slingshot, he would deserve to die).
All in all, a pretty poorly thought out system. Also, whoever put the info in the wiki misspelled "Damgage" on the armor page. Usually dont nitpick about spelling, but its pretty noticeable.
Yeah...dresses suck.

No, they don't really match the 5 star kat variants very well, but I do think that they look pretty good, even with the shine. They are.. significantly more complicated than are previous items, which makes them harder to match to, but at the rate we're receiving new costumes and models I wouldn't say that matching is such an issue.

Perfect Mask of Seerus looks nice with Vog cub coat, or a Volcanic/toasty/heavy warden armor/gremlin suit
It could also work with Red/garnet tabard, as well as Infernal guardian, or winterfest coat.
You could try Rageous plate mail but its a stretch.

I found a way to fit seerus mask with obsidian mantle of (I think influence, it has red cloth)
but I could never get a hold of that volcanic toupee I needed to finish it, now I use a dusky gremlin helm on it, and finally found a volcanic toupee with just 50k buy price, where was that luck when i needed it

Probably because the armor already exists in-game. Try searching up the Mad Bomber Suit.

EDIT: Sonosuke is correct, my bad. It's the Bombastic Demo Suit, I guess the red arms and the red glow of the bandolier threw me off.
