Ha! It's a trick, we all know updates come on the last wednesday of the month. This week's wednesday so happens to be the start of next month.
the most probable date right now is one day before the one year anniversary of the announcement, so we can't say it's been a year.

Hmm, this is some sort of trick game, knowing if people want to stay legible for rewards yet cannot post before a certain number of posters voided their own legibility to receive a reward. It is but deliciously genius.
