Energy price went up too high, so i end up spending time on the forum instead...
Ok, back to the topic; not sure if anyone have suggested this before, but i think a pause function in the game will be good. Something like the pause use in game like DOTA, where the players can pause the game like 30s to 1 min, and if the other members want, they can also un-pause the game, so as not to back-stab the other teammates by pausing forever...
There are time where i had a call, or someone came knocking on the door while i was playing half-way through the game. This is especially frustrating when i'm in the danger room, or arena, where the monster will keep coming after me. So the only way to pause the game now is to die..which i had to spend energy to revive myself later. So i'll really appreciate having a pause function in the game.
How do you guys feel about this?

I would greatly appreciate a pause function. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is one of the things that really annoys me about the game. I can't find the phone when it ring, or get the cat our of where it shouldn't be or whatever without coming back with my knight dead.

Maybe if everyone in the group has to agree to the pause, like how kick votes work in L4D? Open the chat box quickly, type such as "brb phone", call for a pause.

I like this idea. This would really make sense to have it, if your playing levels as a single player. I don't want those gremlins or wolfys to teleport to my character without me noticing! I was just off for about a minute and my idle character was killed by wolfys! How was I supposed to know that the wolfys will come to me? I thought the coast was clear! That is why I think there should be a pause button when playing single player at least!

Heard of DOTA?

Ok, there a pause function in the game DOTA ( Developed by Blizzard) which i used to play a few year back.. It's also a multiplayer online game, and can play up to 10 people on both side i think. Though not really a mmorpg, we sure can adapt the pause function they use. ( Not sure if there any new changes, haven't been playing the game for many years)
Here how the pause work: if i didn't remember wrongly:
Each players can chose to pause the game for up to 1 min or so, after that the game will resume by itself; the other players can un-pause the game as and when they want. So if you are going to the toilet or getting the call, you can pause the game and type in the chat box...
As for abusing this function: as each player can un-pause the game, i don't really see any point in abusing it?? maybe if one of them want to ruin the game for the others by keep putting the game on pause? But the leader can still kick the player out, so i don't see much point in abusing it. ( unless the person doing it is the leader)
Unless you want to pause the game when fighting vana or in danger room to come up with a strategy; well in this case, it just make the game slightly easier for the player, but we can still limit the time to like 30s for each player per level or something like that.. anyway, most of us actually discuss the strategy before fighting the boss, so i don't really see much use in this.
