Spiral knights wont boot with Allocated ram anymore

Iv played Spiral knights for a few weeks with this extra.txt file and i had no problems. Today, i had a update, and during the update my PC Crashed.
I emergency rebooted and then my game would not work no more. I followed a suggestion to say "Delete the extra.txt if you have one" and i done so.
After that the game would boot, but reapplying the extra.txt would cause it not to work.

I Reinstualled spiral knights and got a different message which says

"
Java Virtual Machine Launcher
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
"

I need this to work, i have 16GB of ram, and without allocating atleast 6Gb, my game Freezes for 1-3 seconds and then plays again in certain areas.
I can relate this to FSC, SL and any place that has WAY too much going on.

With the boost i had going, FSC would chew up about 2Gb of ram.
I read that Spiral knights by default has a maximum of 512Mb, which i strongly believe is not enough!
If their is any other way to increase ram, or to fix this problem, id greatly appreciate it!
Otherwise i have no choice but to leave Spiral knights for good.

Anyone that believes that ram has not fixed my FSC and SL Runs. I compared it very well. I also know alot of people experience the same problem in FSC, anyone that knows the player named "Zeeca" will understand something, because i used to be a friend and do runs with him. and he would complain about FSC glitching like nuts.
Before i allocated the ram, FSC would glitch in such a way, id release my Sword charge and it would freeze. By the time it unfroze, my sword never have release the charge.
After i allocated the ram, this event never happened. The game ran smooth and i could play without glitching, only lag.

Shadow lair, my first run i would have lag and frozen screen. It was that bad i was 100% Useless during the run. This was a while back.
Recent run i was very helpful with very very minor glitching and minor lag. (This event was with allocated ram)

Anywho i hope i can get help with this issue!

Thank you!

They added the parameter -Xmx256M to getdown.txt maybe 2 months ago?

If you plan to modify getdown.txt, be sure to modify the digest.txt's md5s (of getdown.txt and digest.txt entries).
Digest.txt's md5 is made by ignoring the digest.txt line.
