It's unusual but a charm. Spiral Knights blasts up to a whooping 9/10 user rating!

In August I looked at the rating for Spiral Knights on Steam and the score was around 7/10. Odd that now the score is 9/10. This very positive score serves as an advertisement itself. Now only if the Metacritic score blew up so high...

What could have made the score soar? Or was it always 9/10 and I just forgot about it? Or a bug?

Nope, just internet feminists giving this game high score for not objectifying women.

My bets are on the removal of crystal+mist energy... but I somehow doubt that we'll ever really know lol. Welcome to the forums, where no one actually has any data to back anything up when it comes to actually discussing the game's development.

Steam score is just % of

Steam score is just % of positive reviews. For example, i can write positive review for a game that deserve 6/10.

what what

Who's gonna take the time to specify the exact score a game deserves?

To be fair, quite a few mmos DO objectify women, and it's kind of... strange and disgusting. That SK doesn't is definitely a plus.

I'd say most of them give men the same treatment. Still, it's pretty bad. Hail SK

yeah this I the only MMO that I actually got my sister to try
she liked it a lot (later quit due to the fact she wore a tailed helm, but that was some bad players who harassed her, not the game)

As a male I too amazingly as

As a male I too amazingly as it sound quite astounded by some of the female characters armor in other mmo's .I like boobs and all but if you are battling a level 56 dragon in bikini armor why are you not burnt like a pop tart
Just doesn't add to the realism I guess you would say ,all I know it bugs the crap out of me

my 34 cents

As much as I want to slam Fehzor with thunderf00t's (my internet mentor) videos, I think I will just leave this thread in peace. After all, why can't I give my female character butts and breasts when a female artist is allowed to draw her female characters like anorexic modles?

Both of those are awful. It doesn't matter what the gender of the person who drew them is, encouraging pursuit of surrealistic and unhealthy body images should be avoided at all costs.
