How much does a celestial blade cost?
What uv is recommended on a plate helm/armor? (would normal max on both be of any use?)

Price checks go in the Bazaar forum. You will have better luck there.
From our best research threads (which I can't cite right now), it seems that damage UVs on armor don't have much practical value. In contrast, UVs against certain important statuses (shock, fire, freeze) can make a huge difference to your survival. So go for those always.

I got normal MAX on my Ancient Plate Helm and elementary MAX + shadow MED on the Mail.
It's pretty good for LD :)
Celestial Blade: Beyond reasonable but hey its a pretty blade.... it is more powerful than Leviathan blade (since it has stun) but it still isn't a recommended weapon.
For plate: you would want a Max status UV on both of the same type (preferably one your armor doesn't end up with; Stun is useless and fire is useless on volcanic plate) For damage resist UVs you want one that specializes in what your final armor choice specializes in (volcanic get elemental, Ironmight get pierce), Normal max would be useful in PVP and in T1 and T2. T3 monsters deal pure damage types so few monsters will deal pure normal damage (Trojans do for example and so do some shankles)
