That's what doesn't work
I can't feed it because it never gets any appetite, which i think you can get if the sprite gets heat. My battle sprite never gets heat. I have done many missions and one long clockwork run, but the heat never went up.

im vohtarak, call me by that name
its supposed to get 1 every 5 minutes I think
and heat goes like 1 pixel per floor

So now my battle sprite is actually getting heat. Close to level 2. But it still doesn't get any appetite.

and here we see the bumper of ended threads in its natural habitat
this one appears to go by the name" horseclaw"
you can feed it materials, and heat found in the clockworks goes very slowly
and the appetite goes down when you feed it, so if its high it means u can feed it
