CE prices are too damn high
why?
cus demand is too damn high and supply is too damn low
why?
cus crafting prices are too damn high
why?
cus OOO seems to be high, damn
too damn high
Will only respect this topic if your facial hair is as epic as his
Who decides what the proper price of CE should be? Without that number who can say when it's too high. By my calculations it about right.
I agree about demand :)
There should be more crown demand yeah
The only way you'd get me to sell CE is to make a very expensive crown sink, because everything else is worth grinding through the clockworks for.
the proper price for CE is based on what a normal T2 run would give on CR
between 4.5~5k i would say, but with the new CE prices P2P players spend their paid CE in their own crafting (now they have to craft thx to 4*5* binding) and there is a greater demand of CE from the F2P players for the same reason so prices are too damn high and who is a the bottom of this event chain? OOO
A T2 run is only 70 Energy, your maths are off.
"the proper price for CE is based on what a normal T2 run would give on CR"
get your head out of the clouds~
the "proper" price is how much crowns the average person farms out of 100ME+however much CE he wanted to use. That's pretty vague but hey, that's how many people will get funds for CE.
edit: thanks for pointing out the typo!
I'm not sure if you were trying to make a joke, but "proper" is the proper way to spell the word. (unless the people of England spell it differently.(I don't know where you're from))
They're high, all right. On sleep deprivation.
yea my math is off but not by a whole bunch
i didnt stop to think the math tru i just gave what i tho is what a person would farm out of T2
btw...the average of what a person farms depends on which tier he/she is running right?
so the price of CE being based on T1 is too wishful and T3 its too high for T1 players, so the price being based on T2 is not too high for T1 players and not too low for T3 players
i agree its based on how much CE is used too and i never said it wasnt....but right now im talking on average how much a lvl in T2 would give compared to the CE u spend to get to that lvl (10) each lvl must give at least 620 CR or else ur losing CE (not taking mats in account atm)
You know what else is too damn high?
Your sense of entitlement.
The subject is beaten to death every time the CE economy spikes up, and beaten to death some more in between. It will be a problem, though, when new players can no longer play a F2P game -- that is, when the Cr cost of CE exceeds what you earn in T1, thus putting a time limit on how long they can play without spending $$. I don't remember what I earned in a full T1 run, but at ~3,600 -3,800 Cr to run through it, I don't think I earned much more than that. Sure, trolls will say "omigawd, u can only has 2 hurs 2 play ea day that so bad go owtside u nub," but any sensible person would realize how much of a turn off that would be for new players. The sky isn't falling, but there are problems inherent when F2P content is governed by a player run economy without administrative intervention.
perhaps we should elect a king, a king of all clockworks to regulate CE prices.
Monarchy never works out in a modern society, including in games.
Boswick is King of the Clockworks.
And also Batman.
That's why we blame him.
Because he is the DARK KNIGHT.
DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN
We have a free market going here, and CE is always going to sell for what people will buy it for...like macs. If you think the price needs to be regulated then you're a commie and I want nothing to do with you.(I keed, I keed.)
