You actually can have better ctr on vog cub set than in chaos set. If u set yourself in fire and start charging weapon right before the dmg that fire tick deal, youll automatically have half of a charge bar. That happens because fire dmg is not reducing charge bar but changing it . Vog cubs fire resistance will keep you healthy. Have fun trying this.

I thought I noticed this when trying to make last ditch survival charges in FSC in one piece of chaos and one piece of heating gear.
Since it might not be imagination we should test it.
Gran Faust has the longest charge time and should hopefully provide the most noticeable difference.
Does anyone know the second longest charging times?

Well that's amusing. I don't think it's the greatest tactic, but it does make FoV a bit more formidable.

I used to use that tactic
I used to use that tactic with FoV a lot in FSC/UFSC and sometimes against giant lichens like in Ice queen lair. max damage FoV spammed with nearly half charging time really takes down large groups of enemies or multiple big enemies like trojans/deadnaughts/lichens fast. Works very well but only with 8-9+ fire resist, I thought everyone knew this tbh.

Interesting, but it will also be harder to set yourself on fire in the first place, because you're wearing Vog, right? So we'd need some testing to see which one wins out.
Anyway, I like hearing ideas about tricks like this. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
