Yeah, i hate how the first depth is always poison themed. I have not seen the first stage of the prestige missions with fire or freeze for quite sometime, it's always poison and it's annoying.

in always get poison-freeze, in that order, and its happened so often I UVed ALL OF MY STUFF SO A SEERUS MASK WILL HANDLE THERE
and no shock, however I have a low degree of immunity (wisps)

Poison is considered the least effective status on knights, it doesn't prevent movement or attack like shock, stun, and freeze and doesn't deal continuous damage like fire.
The only time when poison is considered a bad status is when you are trying to outdo a mender or silkwing heal rate.
Besides, unless you run nothing but chaos cloak then it is easy to find a poison resist set (I have 3 at the moment).

I don't think the point of the thread is that the player dislikes poison status, it's that the game is meant to have rotating levels and, from their experience, it doesn't rotate ie is always poison themed.

and poison is worse than fire if you only use antiguas and most underused items
really go get an AP and heavy deconstructor, run the rotting metropolis while poisoned, it takes forever

I think someone brought this up before and the conclusion was that the gate is on a really, really long rotation timer, like several hours, that is the same every day. So if you play the mission at the same time every day, you always get the same status.

So what happens if I try it during different times each day and still only get poisoned themes? I'd like to see somebody wait out a shock or normal themed daily prestige.
And why should these dailies have long rotation timers anyways? I thought they were supposed to "variety is the spice of life".

I've been on this game at just about every time every day and its always been poison then freeze for me, and I hate poison themes looks and freeze wolver dens look
i would rather run all shock to be honest

Unlike the arcade which has a continuous cycle of floors, the odds are that missions generate a new instance for the floors every time it is started. Meaning if poison theme is the one that they put first on the list that is what you are probably going to play through for the first floor almost every time.
