ever since they lowered the sell price of the minerals all the gates have been almost the same... SHOCK! They say gamemakers can change a stratum with alloy or something of the sort but then why don't they! There is a whole gate just of shock! I hate shock! Also now instead of getting a decent amount of money for your minerals you get basically nothing! so why can't we switch it back to the old ways? then we will get more money and different gates. There are also probably many other solutions to this problem so you should post yours here.

Stop picking up Blue and
Stop picking up Blue and Purple minerals. They're only worth 2 crowns each at best, compared to 3 or more crowns for everything else. You get one-and-a-half times as many crowns for any color that's not Blue or Purple. It's the profitable thing to do.

i liked it the way it was...back then you would never see a full gate of shock
and no its not for auto sell...it the other way around...ppl try to sell their minerals for the highest price possible and because the colors that ar lower are the ones sold for 3 thats what they sell in that stratum clearly fighting with people that are trying to change a stratum.
and becaue the minerals found the most are purple and blue....well u get the idea...(in a run i found a room ful of purple minerals...they should fix it so u get 1 of each color each time not just random)

It's not entirely random. If you avoid Shock stratum, and farm Jelly stratum, you increase your chances of finding... Blue and Purple.
Game /players/ can change a stratum by depositing certain minerals.
I actually deposited enough in one of the gates last week to see a strata change (I meant to deposit in a T2 strata but accidentally deposited into the first one - doh!), AND to see other players change it to something else (probably through autosell).
It's possible to affect the gates. This shock gate just came out of laziness lol.
Tell your friends/guild if you want to build a gate into something, work together, etc. Stage themes are something you have to make as a community :P
