Hi I really would like to see a John Cena costume added to spiral knight I think it would be a great addition to the game, as well as John Cena themed accessories. (EDIT: John Cena Prize Box as suggested by Ychi)

and promos have more broad ideas, maybe a non weapon combat promo would fit?
John Cena accessories could include championship belt, chain gang badge, that lock he wears on a chain
John Cena costume pieces could be john cena mask, john cena mask with hat, john cena torso
John Cena weapons could be levi reskin that's a john cena action figure, a WWE microphone reskin of the DA that shoots john cena faces

Hulk Hogan is cool too because he's a real American and he teamed up with John Cena one time and it was really cool.

After looking at this thread, the answer should be clear - John Cena costumes and accessories are the way to elevate this game beyond all of the competition.

Take out the names and we may have a box but I don't think any Wrestler is going to want his name associated with what looks like a cutesy game.

And the alien & predator costume suggestion was a good one too, but what does this guy or AVP have to do with spiral knights?
SK knights should have some experience in hand to hand combat so wrestling themed items should make some sense.
I'm not too sure about what lore we could put behind an AVP promotion...

John Cena can teach them hand to hand combat. This can also introduce a new PVP mode. CWE (Cradle Wrestling Entertainment).

First, this seems like it would have a very limited audience of people that favor this wrestler. Even if there were a ton of people that liked him, why do this when you could make something more globally appealing to the SK audience?
Second, putting "Cena's _____" in the game would likely require permission from Cena. I'm not sure that it would be wise of SEGA to attempt to get this, or agree to pay him royalties on this when they could just not.
Perhaps just making a chain or champion's belt, and not branding it with Cena's name or wrestling would be more passable? It would basically be the same item, just called "regal lock chain" or "volcanic champion's belt", and would bear a striking resemblance to the one that he wore... but would be slightly more generic, so as to make sense for 30% of knights to be wearing it for one and a half weeks.
I suggested taking out names since then SK wouldn't need anyone's permission for anything.
Why stop at wrestling?
Let's include boxing trunks, Karate and Kung fu outfits (they are different), even a showy demo suit (with stripes and an SK emblem).
Towel over the shoulder, handlebar mustaches, bandanas, belts (karate and wrestling styled), stunning aura (star power),etc
