Alright, I'm new here, I've only been able to play this game for a few hours and it's fun so far. I'm starting to get the hang of things but there's still some stuff I had questions about that I haven't had time to experiment with ingame and figure out on my own.

1. If you're in a party can you accidently do damage to the other members? I've mostly been soloing so I'm used to only looking out for myself, so once or twice I shot one of those explosive blocks/squares when a party member was standing nearby (oops, lol..) What about fire pots, can you set others on fire? Or the vials you pick up, can you sleep/curse/etc. others if you have bad aim like I do? Or for the players that use bombs, when it goes off does it hurt others or only monsters?

2. Do more monsters really spawn on levels when you're in a party, compared to soloing, or is it the same amount of mobs but they have increased attack/defense and they drop more loot? Because I went through the new Snarbolax levels solo & in a party and it seemed like the same amount both times kind of..

3. I remember I read somewhere on the wiki that if you set one monster on fire it can spread to other monsters nearby. Is that really true because I don't think I've ever seen it happen.. And does that mean if it's on fire and you walk up really close it will spread to you?

4. What are the auction house times? Exactly how long is "very long", "medium", and all that? I thought I saw this answered in another thread the other day but I can't find it even after trying to do a search :/

5. If I delete my character will my name become available again? If so how long is the wait?

6. Is there some way I can change my name here on the forums? I'd rather it match my ingame name..

7. Is there a specific day when the game shuts down completely for updates/maintenance?

8. I don't get minerals. They recently took out the boosting option right? Why do some minerals sell for +2 but others for +3, what influences/affects how much each mineral is worth? Does it ever go higher than +3?

9. Hearts: if I'm in a party of two and a heart drops and I pick it up does it disappear completely or only on my screen? Is there still a copy of the heart on the other players screen for them to get? Because I always feel guilty snatching up all the hearts.. It's just that I really suck and haven't learned how to dodge/shield effectively yet so I'm constantly needing health, lol D:

10. If I'm in the middle of a level or at a terminal and choose the "leave party" or "return to Haven" option do I still keep all the loot that was collected or do I forfeit it? Sorta hesitant about returning to town in any other manner besides the elevator..

Well, I think that might be all of my questions for now..

EDIT: I thought of another question, sorry haha.

11. When any item/crowns/etc. drop does it stay there forever until picked up or does it disappear after a certain amount of time or if you move out of range?

1. NO. the only way you can

1. NO. the only way you can damage your friends are if you detonate a TNT block next to him/her, or by throwing a firepot (not vial) at him/her.

2. There are more Heat and Crowns in party than Solo.. Dunno about other items.. And the Mobs get higher Attack and Defence in Party.

3. Yes it can.. but it all depends on how recistant the "reciver" is to it.. What I noticed is that Shock is esier to spread than other status effects.. But Im not entirely shure about that.

4. Dunno.. but two days are for certain 48 hours :)

5. No idea.. but why delete it? if you wanna start over, just get new low star gear..

6. Dunno..

7. Nope.. They annonce it ingame a few minutes before it happens..

8. No idea.. but I guess it depends on how much of a kind there is in that Stratum..

9. Hearts only disapear on your screen.. so pick them all, and tell your teammates where they are, so they can poick them too!

10. You kepp everything you collected.. so you can return back to town without worries. Another nice thing to do before leaving is to drop your Vitapod and your vials so the others can have them instead..

11. Everything stays eccept for hearts.. Hearts dissappear after a while, so grab them whenever you se them. They do blink though before vanishing..

Firstly...

These are all good questions and the right place to ask them. ^_^

1. There are a limited number of ways to harm your party members. You can pop exploding blocks or monsters next to them or break fire pots near them. Also, it is possible to knock a monster next to them as it is attacking, making it harder for them to dodge. It happens, usually on accident. As MeSako said, vials do not harm your party members.

2. The number of monsters seems to stay the same. There was a bug awhile back that would positively fill a room with extras, but I believe it was addressed. Heat and crowns from monsters is shared, item drops are not. (If I pick up a five crown coin, everyone gets five crowns, etc.)

3. The only monsters I've seen transfer status effects are oilers and quicksilvers.

4. I am not sure what the duration on auctions are and could only guess.

5. If you delete your character the name should become available instantly. I had this same concern (I wanted to remake with a different personal color and a different appearance on my newbie armor...) and successfully deleted and remade with the same name. Just make sure you liquidate and transfer your items/crowns to an alt before doing this.

6. Your forum name is your account name. I wish I had known this prior to making my account. I don't think it can be changed short of making a new account.

7. I have not seen a scheduled maintenance day or time. I do know that Three Rings manage their own servers.

8. This is a good question and I do not know the answer. I just deposit them and try to make undead themed strata.

9. Again, as MeSako said, hearts are instanced. Grab them whenever you can without guilt. This actually becomes important when reviving friends; they can pick up hearts you may have grabbed before reviving them.

10. I would just add that if you leave partway through, you lose any heat your have collected. This includes the 'go solo' option. And yeah, if you plan to leave, it is nice to drop vitapods and such BEFORE you hit the elevator.

11. Sometimes it is good to wait before popping heart blocks if you think you will need to come back and grab more hearts.

Thanks a lot guys! :D I do

Thanks a lot guys! :D

I do love setting stuff on fire, I just need to be more careful with the fire pots then, hehe. And you know the knockback in this game is a little annoying. Can't really have two people attacking one mob unless you corner it, otherwise it's just getting knocked all around the map and out of reach.

Well it definitely seems better to party then, much faster that way and more drops. I don't get why they took out the round-robin setting for item drops though, isn't it more fair than the random distribution they're using now?

Ehh I don't like the auction house much.. Sitting around waiting to bid on stuff is a pain. At least there's a 'buy now' option.

That's good to know, I was thinking about changing my color and possibly moving some alts to a different account. How many accounts are we allowed to create anyway?

Hmm, I don't know if I should hold onto my minerals if they're ever going to sell for more than +3 or if I should just sell them all now..

I'll try to remember about dropping spare vials and stuff before I go back to town.

As far as I know, you can

As far as I know, you can have as many accounts you like.. But don't take my word for it, becouse I don't really know.. ..
But know that unpaid accounts that play on the same computer share there energy..

Auction House times AFAIK:

Auction House times AFAIK:
-Very short: <1 Hour
-Short: 1 Hour~2 Hours
-Medium: 2 Hours~6 Hours
-Long: 6 Hours~15 Hours
-Very Long: >15 Hours

These are VERY rough estimates, esp. Long and Very Long. All I know for certain is that 4 Hours is Medium, 12 Hours is Long, and Very short is less then an hour.
