I've got one question about unique variants and I think this has its place here.

I am currenty making a stuff for lockdown " coliseum" and I am getting sets with some resistance Uvs.

I' ve got a wolver coat with piercing resistance max.

I was wondering if we can cumulate the resistance of both equipements ( armor and helm).

For instance if I get a wolver cap with pierce max, will it give me twice the max resistance? or max for one of the equipement is max for all the stuff?

also, is it useful to have a pierce max resistance on skolver which has already an inherent piece resistance?

( you can switch resistance with defense, I dont remember which one is for statuses and which one for damages)

Thank you for your help!

No it just means you will

No it just means you will have far more pierce resist than most other wolvers. I would suggest taking this one to Skolver since a pierce max on the other two wolver lines are near useless.

In PVP a defense type resist (shadow, norm, pierce, elemental) is only useful on armors that have that resist, on sets without that type resist you may save yourself a handful of damage but almost never enough to be truly game changing.

wiki Abilities

Read the wiki page Abilities to learn how bonuses like this add. Yes, defenses on armor add. And there is no ceiling on how high the defenses can go. In the Clockworks there is not much practical benefit to damage defense, however. Status UVs are preferable.

I don't know much about the practical value of defense in Lockdown, but Holy-Nightmare's advice matches other advice I have seen in the past, so it sounds fine.

Uvs

Even though it says max, it actually isn't. If u have 2 maxes if has more resistance than if u have just one max
