According to the owner, it's the only 1 in existence. That makes it more rare than a Darkfang Shield.
Think about that for a minute.

I understand making new accessories artificially rare to make them desirable, but when you have to weigh in $250 at least, AT LEAST, for a rare cosmetic that's beyond your average population of box openers, I say that's going too far.

Discuss.

Too bad Nox didn't get that Poison Vial Bando yet. Still, a Sleep Bando is nothing to sneeze at and looks pretty good on the costume.

And if you look at EVE Online as an example, there are quite a few stories about the staggering real-world values of virtual possessions. It's not something I understand, but there are people who take virtual goods very seriously.

The rarity of some items in

The rarity of some items in SK are just absurd - I'm pretty sure I had to open over 200 titaniums just to get this thing (although status vial bandos are "less than 1%" items, whatever that may actually mean). In case anybody cares/needs it for the wiki, here's what the icon looked like: http://postimg.org/image/efeuzy2s9/

It's funny how the same set of like ten to fifteen people own the bulk of the small percentage items.

So why do you go for things like this, Noxiousnarwhal? They look nice and are unique, but the price is as you said- absurd.

"Because"

I'd made a costume set in sspy and decided on what to get before the rarity info was released - the vial bando I wanted for the viru set just ended up being crazy hard to get ahold of!

i talked to nox and he said that it was worth 100k ce. Why waste your life savings on SK on one thing. It looks super sweet but still....

Lol, people tend to have very different notions of "life savings on SK". For some, 100K CE isn't that much in the grand scheme of things. It's a lot, but not every crown they'll ever touch.

@Luxasdb

That's just what the current offer is on it - as far as what it's worth, it really depends on what the buyers are willing to pay and what the seller's willing to part with it for. SK's rare item market doesn't have many players, so prices get extremely unpredictable.

Fehzor's pretty much on the dot with that - many people have multiple costume sets worth well over 100k ce each, so 100k for a single item (*cough* darkfangs *cough*) may seem reasonable to them.
