Could be that:

  • people (randoms who arent on your friend/guild list) are creating private parties so they won't show in the party finder.
  • They arent even going to haven or creating new private parties when they are at the end elevator thus skipping going back up into haven

I'm guessing that it's been very busy for the majority of us.

Naturally, one would expect less people on average to show up when the content updates seize to come out. Perhaps SEGA has something big that they will release, or perhaps they just don't.

:/

Trust me friend, there is a game that is more dead than SK, it is a MMO called navyfield, it has been dead for almost 4 years now, there are around 100ish players on any given day with no events, with events, some where around 300 ish. We haven't had any new contents since Italian, French and Soviet navy ships were introduced, that was back in 2013.

Now if you don't mind me, I must return to the pacific ocean, the people of Japan need me!

I'm going to quote a player I met in haven that told me something that I think pretty much sums up the general opinion of most players I've met, talked with or heard them talk and it goes like this:

"Sk doesn't have all that much to offer, It becomes old really fast, I just have fun with the market nowdays"

Yes, there is not as much people as there used to be the ammount of people in the different havens gives it all away, and the only ones I get to see constantly are a bunch merchants. (before anyone comes around to say I hate merchants and stuff... plz, don't be a maggot, I do that for the lolz only and I don't really hate them)

And about your guild, well... Guilds come and go all the time and so do people, this is a normal thing that happens all the time and you shouldn't be worried about that, I've seen many guilds die in SK's brightest moments. Whether this game is "dead or no" is a judgement I am going to reserve to myself.

Just made some new characters

Just made some new characters with a delay of 10 minutes, and every time I come to rescue camp, there was from 3 to 7 different newbies.
Sure thing, newbies now have missions, and If you already have done that mission or your rank isn't high enough to play it, you wont see it in party finder even if they are there. So the bad thing about this is that if newbie didn't make some friends already, he will play solo all the time and feel lonely, because chance that someone at the same rank and mission is now online and looking in party finder is minimal.

There is already plenty of topics about why there is not that much "full" havens these days. Quick answer is ready room, mission lobby, guild hall.
I think this is good, because now if you want you can easily find an empty haven and just chill there with a friend and talk without spammed chat.

About your guild, not many people can play the same game for a long time, only true lovers left alive, haha. So if you still want to play in fresh community, just change guild to other one, which is not 95% of old players.
