Today my high school was in lockdown because of a bomb threat. It lasted an hour and I just want to let you all know I'm fine. That's all

A bomb warning and lockdown? America is getting more startled by foreign threat each passing day, it is shame how the supposedly the best country in the world need to have her citizens living in constant fear of terrorist attack. And I wonder who was the guy that started all this by invading the middle east...

I just want to point out probably nobody thought the threat came from a Jihadist. Not even terrorists would target some random school. These things happen more often than you think, it's just that they don't normally get a lot of media attention unless there is something special about it.
I think giving these kind of things a lot of media coverage actually encourages stupid people to start doing them. They want attention and if they are angry, their subconscious may remind them of violence as a possible path.

Lockdown
My school also had a lockdown a few days ago. No one was allowed to leave until school was over. However, classes did continue normally and we were still allowed to freely move throughout the school until we were released. It was all because someone robbed a gas station at gun point somewhere else in town (it's a small town by the way).

I found out that the threat was given through e-mail and apparently the idiot emailed the threat to the wrong school with the same name witch is us XD
