I am probably really late with the news on the condition of the OOO working on sk but i would like to know, why are we not getting patch notes anymore? i'm just very curious.

They'd tell us why they aren't doing patch notes... you know... the next time they decided to bother posting patch notes.
In theory there have been multiple instances of the game being patched during the promo boxes on a bi-weekly basis but nothing physically happening to the game; what they could be changing may not be warranted sharing with everyone. (like making changes to unreleased content or what other side projects they are working on). They did however make some cosmetic changes to some armors that only apply to high quality.
Since I always play on low quality, that would have flew under my radar, but for the most part it's been little things.
For example, the monthly Metal Boxes always are set to appear without patch notes on the first of the month, but we still get big patches for promo boxes?
Just food for thought.

Remember those "improved the texture of stranger hats" patch notes?
Those came across as "We have time to make fixes to costumes that people don't really wear anymore [since we stopped selling them] but we have no patches regarding the big game updates [to continue to keep all gunner/game notes secret]"
So rather than look like they are averting time an resources to minor stuff, they keep the minor stuff secret and appear they are working on everything.
It's sort of a win/win for them.

Actually that sounds more like it's just a personal issue.
I don't know if you've even noticed or not, but Tarak doesn't capitalize anything, not even his own name.
Also, my name is very rarely spelled correctly, let alone capitalized correctly, and you don't see me complaining.

You mean the recolored promo they keep putting? (red storm, red dangerous... venom wings > apocrean skin wth winter drag wings aura in green
There's so much recycling in SK it's amazing people like it and find it creative. The "old fan" like I am (and Hex) have seen over hundreds and hundreds of good suggestion that could've been implemented in the game throught the 3 years of the game. But the game dev never bothered to look at them all and didn't even used them the slightess...
It's not about the community not being vocal, it's about OOO not wanting to deal with angry fans. Who have a right to be upset since most of the people who put money in the game got their triple Max UV being worth close to nothing of what it was and the accessory market being run in the depot, as flash sale...
OOO had their choices and I'm sure something drove Nick away from this TEAM rather than this game. And I doubt the fans are the reason for it, but because SOMEONE *COUGH* *COUGH* IAN *COUGH* *COUGH* want to cash in on the prize box market rather than make a solid game.

Don't think it's the team members
Ian seems pretty down to earth and amazing. Most of the Three Rings staff are kind and do want the best for the players and their game. However, in order to please their players they need to help with their publisher. SEGA needs money, and Three Rings needs money. That's just how a business operates.
I've said this before and I'll say it again - I'd prefer we get bi-weekly costume promos than a year of nothing. Granted, we've had events thrown in, but those don't stay any longer than a promo.
Also I think the patch notes bit might just be because adding patch notes for the little things seems not all that important, especially since most of them are cosmetic related. It doesn't cause artificial hype from the community.

was there a patch not for the last Halloween event? i remember the announcement on the forums but i don't think i got to read any notes about the new monster scarab they included (it was suppose to be a mystery where players have to find out like the black cat book)? well i think a not about the new mask would have been nice? i was wondering this cause with the Christmas event coming up, i wonder if it will just be an announcement?
Supposedly, they're really busy working on the updates they announcdd for the game back in 2013. Don't take my word for it though, I haven't been here for very long.
