Sudden Death in Lockdown!

When the timer goes to 0:00 while the score in each team has the same number of points, brown text in the chat box appears, reading, "Sudden Death!" and the first team to earn more points wins.
I was surprised when the event happened.
"Do you have any proof?"
Sadly, no, I was too surprised to take a screenshot. :(

It's a well known thing and it's used all the time for making infinite games. Please try to post in the correct subforum if you're gonna make threads about PvP aspects of the game, also.

I actually remember in a T2 match long ago that both teams noticed that the score counts for the teams were increasing at the same rate. So we made a truce and decided to not change the bases that were capped by each team. I believe that each team had 2 capped bases while 1 was neutral, something like that.
When the timer ran out, both teams had the same score, saw the Sudden Death message in the chat box, and the match kept on going. And TA DA! we made a never ending game as long as we kept that setup. We kept that game going for a very, very, very long time and eventually ended it when everyone was getting tired. That had to be one of the most fun LD matches I had ever experienced.

OH so THATS how you make an infinite match

If you try to tie it at 0-0, it just ends the game and no one wins correct?
But yeah, this is a known thing. ofc it gets done for infinite gvgs quite often, but I have had it happen legitimately in a few games. Makes for intense gameplay, especially because for a game to be tied it has to be pretty even to begin with.
this is...
believable
I've never seen a match tied, I usually dont even see close matches
and it makes sense to put something like this in
