Hi there, I'm Akdetroit. I've been playing spiral knights on and off since I played on a Pentium laptop that overheated unless half-off the table in 2011. I played through the thin and thick of this game, and I even ran a short-lived RP thread for a summer. Now, It's 2014, and there hasn't been real content in over 1.5 years. I was raised through the youthful stages of a pc gamer on Spiral Knights. I went from blasting open my escape pod as a simple 11 year old, to where I am now, being a 14 year old, high school freshman, constantly trying to improve my skills in gaming, and on an $1100 dollar gaming computer(self-built). Spiral Knights was the catalyst I needed to get to this happy place in my life, and for that, I thank OOO. In spiral knights, I was in a guild called A F K, where I met friends I still miss to this day, and I was the only person in Haven with a CIV, until I saw the first person I've ever seen besides my self with one a few months ago. I was there, last December, when (A GM) revealed they were still hard at work on the gunner update, and that It would come in 'late January'. I was there, In January, when the said April, when they said June in April, and when they said 'summer' in June. I stopped playing Spiral Knights in July of 2014 for what i think will be good. Even if this is so, I just wanted to thank OOO, and the entirety of the SK community for making my time in Spiral Knights so enjoyable. If there is ever another content update in SK, not some quintuple-times-repeated promo, I'll be happy to play again, but until then, my combined 504 hours between SK and SK test server will remain as they are.

2 minutes later: I just wanted to add, that I think the addition of the forge, and the removal of energy, and all the reworked features that were changed at that time were all mistakes, and that I loved Spiral Knights even more before all that extra monetization was added. And hey, who remembers when 100 CE would only run ya' 4900 cr?
