I joined spiral knights 3 years ago but at that time I had little to no knowledge about enemies. Now I find out that some enemies have been nerfed. Could you guys tell me what monsters were nerfed and what did they use to do before and their difference to their actual behave? All i know is that zombies tracked and their hits were deadlier and also that they jump dealed no damage. Also i know alpha wolvers could track and retrodes too, but I dont see why people complained about retrodes tho.

I also heard someting about oilers and quicksilvers being nerfed, and phatoms, greavers, devilites, red rovers, etc. I tried to do the research myself but i find little to no information and no videos who shows those op monsters.

focus on fiends

As you said, zombies were changed to have much less dangerous swipes but more dangerous jumps.

As you said, wolvers were nerfed so that they no longer track their targets during their attacks. They are now pitifully easy. Often I don't even pay attention while fighting them.

Greavers were strengthened. See Release/all, particularly for release 2013-05-01.

I don't know when you left, but some monsters have been added: polyps (slime turrets), howlitzers (undead turrets), gorgos (bulbous fiends), dreadnaughts (giant undead, like trojans), battlepods, gremlin stalkers and mortafires, compound swarming monsters, etc.

You might enjoy reading Release/all. Welcome back.

Straight-Line

"They are now pitifully easy. Often I don't even pay attention while fighting them."

So if you don't pay attention, wouldn't you get hit accidently?

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

if you use DBB you have to try before they can hit you. with a toothpick it's arguably worse, you have to NOT use it do make them hit you.

right

Dark Briar Barrage seems to be the fastest way to kill a crowd of wolvers. And, as with any weapon, once you are experienced with it you can know its charge time without looking.

So I can clear a room of wolvers by running in circles and dropping DBBs, while watching television on another screen. Admittedly, I usually look back at Spiral Knights every few seconds. But, just for fun, I did once clear a multi-wave room of wolvers without looking at all.

Whether you use DBB or Final Flourish or Sudaruska or Calibur or just about any non-elemental weapon, beasts are just too easy now.

There was also the addition

There was also the addition of minis and probably the most powerful of all beasts at the moment (which isn't saying much) are Dust bunnies

There's nobody named larry here. Stop hallucinating.

Also there's clearly defined fora for other languages. This isn't like youtube or gamefaqs or something that has every language together.
