*sigh* I'm not one to not appreciate the hard work done, but is this really the result of one year's (or longer) worth of work? This is more or less the same stuff released on the test server back in April. As far as I know, it doesn't seem like any really troubling suggestions were taken into account in spite of what Aphrodite stated. Like particularly, what's the deal with all the gunner armors? I'm certain many people were vocal about that, yet now the arsenal is awkwardly over saturated with gunner armors, it's ridiculous.
It's nice to see that this update was finally released, but if this is it, I wouldn't really expect a large influx of players coming back to stay; all that's changed is that you can kill the same stuff you've been killing for a year with different variants of the same weapons that have existed forever. I'm hoping that sometime, hopefully less than a year this time, that SK actually has new things to do. Until then, I think I'll continue playing GW2.
Also, radiant drops are still terrible, lol. I don't see how people would make all this stuff when no one can timely upgrade their gear without mind numbingly grinding FSC for weeks on end.
Three Rings probably spent a good amount of time fine tuning the items and working on other things, like tortodrones and updating the missions (we got new minibosses and all that). I wouldn't be surprised if there's other things under the works as well.
That plus they had to come up with an incredible amount of descriptions for these new armors and guns. Like, for the love of Afna, why are there so many armors.

hi there new guns and armor are awesome i saw it but can you make sour reaver swords ? or somethink like that from other games like soul calibur i think about reskines it is possible?
They spent time on promotions. And thing about tortodrones... if those were at least like old ones (and they better don't say that old ones were removed because those were too hard to fight)!
Lubie, there's this thing called copyright, and since SEGA is the publisher they would have to approve too, so I don't think that's feasible.
Anyone else have slow animations for firing guns? I find that I can still double tap, pause, double tap and get the same speeds as before, but the animation looks off... it's like the gun is stuck in slime. I get one animation and two shots. Very odd. I assume that a higher ASI would help this a bit.
Similarly, I find that the new guns are a touch slower ASI in general. I'll fire twice (polaris), and then switch to a sword, and compared to before the update, the time it takes to play the animation and then switch to my sword is much longer. It almost feels like my guns are slightly stunned at all times. (if you don't use polaris, or if you don't use it like I do, the double tap-switch to sword is fantastic. With the slow bullet speed, the polaris rounds hit the baddies at about the same time my sword does, so the baddy gets hit with 2 explosions, and a quick 1-2 sword swing in about the same time it takes to blink.)
Is this just me? I like the update in general, but I would really like my animations to keep up with what actually happens.
I must say; Catalyzers are so much fun now! And if you have not noticed, the charge shot does massive damage if the enemy does not already have an orb floating around it! I registered ~375 damage from a lone charge, ~175 damage with an orb explosion. Pretty neat. I'm so glad OOO decided to allow standard shots to hit blocks! Biohazard has always been fun, but now it's SO MUCH fun!
Good times, even with slow animations.
Guns now have a delay time after attacking much like swords do. Instead of shooting then lowering you weapon, you sort of hold it up for a bit longer. With swords you have a short time after swings that you sort of stand still. Luckily with guns you're still mobile. Shield canceling helps with this, as it cancels the delay.
Honestly, I still don't really feel like playing SK. Just gonna be in the forums until the Arcade Redux. And come back once that happens to find that everyone on my friends list either removed me, have different names, or are all Vanguards.
They release gunner update, but make it so that everything is in basil (polaris and antigua i get, but everything else?) and requires excessive grinding. Brings me back to when they released the loot rework but made radiants as rare as diamonds.
But i can't help but admire how brutally efficient it is, release update many players have wanted for so long but with a caveat of playing hours on end, AND at the same time getting players to play the rarely played arcade. Also, it seems to have appeased the playerbase into forgetting about the arcade redux and numerous other promised patches for the time being.

1: Can we find a new recipe at Basil, buy it, and find another of that same one? If not, is this a bug or intended? If it's a bug, will it be fixed soon?
2: Are there plans to release this stuff to Hall of Heroes at any point in the forseeable future?
Please fix Spiral Soaker throwing out bullets while shooting and give back water sound effect while shooting (because it sounds like a blitz now)... Or remove it from my inventory and give me my 500kcr back >:(

1 - yes, basil recipe are random so RNG godess may hate you. I found 2 Winter Grave and keep getting armor and helms -_-
2 - if you wait a bit they will be overflowing the market (which is already happening) so you can buy it at a decent price... Putting them at HoH would kinda ruin the flow of the game and people wouldn't even need to grind to get them
At least throw some cr at the screen if you want them... I'm kinda against them being at HoH because NOW there's a recipe market again, and I feel happy about it ^ ^

You know, you're much more likely to get a response if you send a bug report or go to support instead of being buried in a thread with dozens of other comments.
1. I won't send bug report (F2) because I did millions of bug reports already, and some of worst bugs still aren't fixed after years.
2. If I send mail to support they will most likely reply with copy-pasted message to post it on forum/bug reports, or F2 in-game.
from a somewhat critic perspective, the only worth content are the tweaks and the bugfixes
all the weapons are reskins of another, and most the armors are reskins of themselves, only three new lines (thank you so much for shadow/shock armor btw), now half the armors of the game are gunner amors, and maybe, just for bonuses the old gunner armors may be considered better *cough shadowsun cough*
the people will get bored fast with this since making so much 5* gear means farming radiants for over 100 hours as we joked yesterday in our guild.
it its hard to believe that this took so long

Great work on the update (and the patching up afterwards).
I'm a bomber so this update pretty much meant nothing for me other than I couldn't play for a while, but I'm glad it's all fixed again....I think.
I only have 2 words to describe the situation
Overly Hyped.
Minimap was changed. At now it is common. If teammate opened part, that was not discovered by you, his progress will be shown on your minimap.
ps minimap is big map that you can open with B button or icon near the map.
Team members could already uncovering parts of the level for you. As someone who plays with it on constantly, I feel confident in this.
Also still mostly enjoying the new guns (specifically Callahan's pierce and Catalyzer's changes.)
I'm not completely sure about the changes. The idea to fill some gaps in the gunner arsenal was good, but I think the problem is that every single gap has been filled. Swords still have problems with turrets, bombers have a general lack of elemental damage bombs, but for example demos, something gunners used to have problems with because of the lack of AoE shadow guns, are now piece of cake with Grim Repeater or Permafroster. It's good to have some things added, but I think gunners now have a great advantage, especially compared to bombers, since there are almost no weaknesses to gunners anymore.
Of course overall I like the update, but I think the need for more bomber gear has increased even more now.
