3 hours and half.
That's the time it took me to find a Dark Chaingun recipe at Basil's. While everyone else was asking for over 6 times its price at the Auction House, I decided to roam the arcade with all the other numerous knights running Stratum 3 over and over again. I then found it and went "asfgfdgfdcqhdkvfgshkvfgsdkv" and bought it.
I crafted it, and subsequently drooled over it as my cutesy little Autogun became a Magenta colored, realistic belt-fed light machine gun, with a sexy box magazine. "What the hell, OOO?", I thought myself. We have cute, cartoonish little handguns like the Blaster or Catalyzer, and then we have this. Its later iterations even have a proper stock, a picatinny rail and iron sights. Nonetheless, I was satisfied. Seeing my knight wield a badass piece of weaponry.
I then set out to test it in the Clockworks. And what better place, than the Royal Jelly Palace? Of course, I set the difficulty to normal, as the gun was freshly baked out of the oven. How would it handle a big fat cube of jelly, just out of the box?
I marched into that palace, entered the King's lair, and promptly left after 10 seconds.
It took me 3 charge shots to take down the Jelly King.
Hue.
All that to say, I really really really really love this gun already. And to add to that, I got lucky enough to find the 4* recipe right after the King.
It's like the Blitz Needle back in the day all over again.
Well, it sure's gonna be like porn once I see how much it can boost my speed in O:CH speedruns. Just gotta get an Autogun with CTR med first...
