Even though there are a lot of gunners now, people will realize that some people are not good at gunning. So, as long as there are not that many overpowered guns(even if they are they have to be really hard to get - like mixmaster), the gunner population will eventually go hybrid or something.
I, for one, would like to see more hybrids.

The only noob ones that need a check are the ones who keep using advanced guns with little to no knowledge.
E.g People who use magnus line weapons that aren't good at lead shooting. Or the group that think just because they have a gilded griffin/Raptor they can just get trigger happy on devilites/wolvers.

You guys make it sound like gunner noobs in Lockdown. PvP sure they could be irritating but I can't say much on that (Haven't done LD in a LONG time). But if you're playing with noobs PvE just let them have their fun. The gunner update is supposed to make full gunning a viable option over swords so it's expected.

Yeah I admit there are a lot of gunners now, and not all of them are total pros, but with Pulsars no longer spammable, I don't see how they prove detrimental in any way.
