In terms of raw damage and charge shot output, which is stronger now?

I've heard that you can one-shot lumbers with a slug charge on normal, but can the winter grave still do that kind of massive damage as well?
Also, I'm not getting Callahan because I need a shadow gun, so don't bring it up.

Thanks

They will do the same amount of damage to a neutral target, but the Winter Grave's freeze can stop lumbers from being pushed back, meaning the charge will only hit a few times which might not be enough to kill them.

While it is true that the winter grave stops enemies from getting launched, you can take this chance to line up another perfect straight line charge shot on the enemy. Or angle it to hit one enemy thats lingering behind the frozen one.

I overlook the freeze because for one, a frozen target that can't move is something you can't miss. It's as good as dead.

Still, I recommend the Iron slug over it because you can bring it everywhere.

This is all discussed pretty heavily in the recent Iron Slug vs. Callahan thread:
