You know how when you'd bump an enemy with the shield they'd slide away?
I got the tundrus earlier and i've seen that the line's charge attack tends to send monsters to the far side of the galaxy rather than 3-5 tiles away. I shot a retrode with it, and he was blown clear off-screen into the WOW! dimension. I've tested this on all types of monsters and they usually have the same effect. "Heavy" monsters such as lumbers and trojans aren't affected much by it, but the knockback is still intense. All tiers were tested to, the charge attack for an unheated tundrus will one-shot a tier 1 lumber on elite. But when the charge hit a wolver, the wolver decided to stop existing. I couldn't find it, and i knew it wasn't dead because it didn't play the death sound or jump up. The charge bullet also seems to have it's own gravity, i've witnessed on many occasions where it will pull the enemy in and send them away, doing tons of damage. If it's knocking back into the far reaches of the galaxy, post a funny story below!
tundrus line charge worse than shield bump knockback
they're not pushes all in one hit
the new callahan charges, like antigua birds, hit enemies multiple times and push them with those hits, they dont send things flying with one damage tick
That's weird, because almost every time i charge attack, they're sent off. I know it's multi-hit but it shouldn't send them into space.
They get sent flying in strange directions because they are pushed back relative to the direction they're facing at the time of contact. I've shot multiple things in the back, only to have them blasted towards me instead of away with the bullet. This is different than the Antigua lines, which seem to just push things forward regardless of what direction they targets are facing. I find the knockback on the Magnus lines hilarious.
Oh wow, that sounds hilariously hilarious and is absolutely something I need to abuse. Seeing a teammate cornered? NO PROBLEM! Y'know, if I can charge the Magnus and fire it before my teammate dies, at least.
I have a Tundrus and I don't have that problem. Though, mine is still the 3* version.
