EDIT: Just to make sure that you're actually reading this: My problem isn't people having problems with CE, it's people having problems with CE and making a whole lot of threads that, in the end, are all the same. I don't really see why we need so goddamn many of them. Wouldn't just one, big thread do it for now?

Seriously, I'd rather quit SK because of this forum rather than the game itself. And that's not gonna happen.
See, there's something I'd like to call "variety". You may have heard of it at some point. Sometimes, I like darker stuff. Sometimes, I want something more lighthearted. Sometimes I want something extremly simple to shut down, and sometimes I like to have something really bloody complex. Easy, hard, you get there this is going.
Why am I mentioning this?
Because I get the feeling that most of these - sorry, but I can't think of a nicer word - whiners seem to play ONLY Spiral Knights. Sure, I love this game and all, but I don't really see how you can spend your time ONLY with it, demanding more energy to do so. See, when I don't feel like playing League of Legends for one hour straight because neither party dares to actually destroy the opposing party's Nexus or am frustrated because I can't get past the third boss in Dangun Feveron, I like to simply check into SK, run a dungeon or two, try to get a bit of CE for equipment and leave again. It's that simple.
Maybe I'm wrong and you play like ten games at the same time. Maybe. Or maybe I'm simply not "internet serious" enough to get the tragedy of the May 17 update and can accept the fact that developers deserve money for their hard work even though I still haven't spent a single RL cent on this game. Though I will. Someday. Until then, I'm gonna buy my CE with crowns. I don't force you to do the same, but I'd at least like you to... well... see the beginning of the post.

Do you have a main champion in League of Legends? Because some people can't stand to play the same champion twice in a row. Others can't stand to play anything but their main.
Same thing with games. There are some people who only play ONE game at a time, even if it is this one. They have a right to an opinion like anyone else.
If the forums bug you, just don't read them or post on them. Same decision I made with League since the forums are so inflammatory.

I have to agree with PDotAlex. I don't mind so much that they have opinions, but the same opinion doesn't need to be stated ten times in ten different threads on the front page. It just invites more hate and is very unconstructive.

That is exactly what my problem is with those threads. It's fine that they exist. People have a right to their opinions, but each and every one of those threads devolves into personal insults and trolling within the first ten posts or so.
If the threads weren't total flamebait created/posted in by people who don't respect others' opinions, they would be waaaaaay less annoying.

1 tier 2 jk run will get you enough for 100 more ce just keep buying out more and more ce, eventually you will be one of those guys at the top who can control ce prices, then you will be happy.
I'm a F2P player, and haven't spent a cent on CE , i have the 'rare' 5* and im not crying about ce. Just learn how to get CE more productively, eventually you will have some CE stores....

Wouldn't it be helpful to make some community moderators in case of rule breaking so there isn't too much stress about checking the forum for rule breaking so the developers get time to check suggestions and that sort of thing?

I feel complaining about CE price at this point is reasonable.
That is, because I think it's making entry to the game for new players needlessly difficult.
We need more crownsinks, more (continuous) playtime (somewhere) for new players without CE, massive advertising campaign (more new players equals more use of the existing crownsinks, so that'd soften the CE price up by itself; remember when EVERYONE was new? 2k crowns for 100CE was a fair price back then, as much as 6k is a fair price now; if you consider fair to be what the average player can pay and can do with the crowns).
I just loathe people wo claim greedy players force the price up and push hate agendas instead of trying to improve things at their root. (even though it requires telling OOO to get to work on this or that awesome suggestion, or to come up with a solution of their own)

Seriously, though. I agree with you. It seems like SK is babby's first MMO for all the people complaining about CE. Honestly, you're not locked out of any content except for a few random dead-end equips if you don't buy CE. There are some MMO games that don't even let you try the game without paying.
