Still good to keep in mind what Dark said about the AH. Things can sell for way more than they're worth, they can also sell way under priced. Especially rare or more expensive items. Also, google can be pretty helpful as well.
For example
"white chef coat" site:forums.spiralknights.com
Type that in and google will search the forums specifically for what you're after, in this case a white chef coat. Just put whatever you're looking for in the quotes. You'll also be able to narrow your search down by date. I direct you to google because the forum search itself is the crappiest I've ever seen.
