I have heard a lot about half an hour FSC runs, but havent been able to get close to that for a while.
so, could anyone point me to a video showing how to do this (and I dont mean speedruns, I mean clearing all enemies while being as fast as possible), or otherwise show/illustrate how to?
FSC optimisation
If you want to kill everything, it's gonna take more time than a proper speedrun. If you want that speed, you'll basically need three things:
- Blitz Needle
- Electon Vortex
- Brandish (Combuster > Voltedge > Glacius)
Throw vortexes and spam charges and that's roughly how one becomes a PvE "pro".
Just search YouTube for something like "firestorm citadel speed run". You will find many videos.
Blitz can be substituted with Plague Needle, or to a much lesser degree, Pepperbox.
Electron Vortex can also be substituted by Shivermist Buster or Graviton Vortex(not recommended)
Divibe Avenger is arguably more useful than Combuster for FSC.
And lastly, thanks to the gunner update, Iron Slug works wonders there too.

generally I do. its not really a limiting factor as long as your team knows what its doing.

its kind of obvious that plain speedrunning is faster. I only want to decrease the time taken to clear so I can maximise my cr output.

I have only found actuall speedruns, not "speed-clears", so that doesnt help me. if you have found one that actually would be helpful, please do point it out to me.

selecting gear is not really a concern for me. I have full 5* and a large amount of things to choose from, combined with a semi-decent knowledge of FSC. unless there are some certain scenarios where an uncommon weapon will greatly decrease time needed, it is not necessary to mention it.
Sorry. I did not understand that you were interested only in clears. Searching for "firestorm citadel full clear speed" produced these videos, which claim to be "speed clears". I haven't watched them, however. Good luck.
ah yes, that looks good.
though I find it hard to believe that they are playing in elite, considering I saw a turret die in only two voltedge hits.
If you're talking about the turrets that spawn in that hall with the boxes and buttons behind them they're tier 2 red rovers, IDK why, but it is fairly common for them to die in 2 hits from a 5* elemental brandish even on elite.
