Make alchemy paths more like each other

So currently there are a lot of weapons and armors that start at a low star and upgrade to 5*, many of which are versions of each other. In some cases they branch, sometimes they don't, sometimes they start at 2*, sometimes 1*, sometimes 3*. My suggestion is to make them all follow a similar crafting structure, starting at 2* with one common item and branching from there. This would mean:

-Make Padded Armor/Helm 2*, then remove the 4* versions and bump up the current 2* and 3*s.
-Make a 2* Magnus that upgrades to Magnus and Tundrus. Ideally, add a 3rd Magnus line that deals Normal all the way up to Slug instead of branching slug at 5*.
-Replace all 2* Mist bombs with a new, universal 2* Mist bomb (Maybe just use Haze bomb?) and have all the 3*s upgrade from that.
-Replace all 2* Alchemers with a new, universal 2* Alchemer (Normal dmg? Probably elemental) and have all the 3*s upgrade from that.
-Leave Autogun, Blaster and Brandish lines unchanged.
-Make all Tortoguns build out of 2* Blaster instead of Shadowtech and Prismatech Alchemers, Blaster, and Autogun.
-Eventually release a Sworder and Bomber update that have equivalent armors to the new Gunner Armor, and make them the same way.

This would be much less confusing for new players learning about alchemy paths and choosing what weapons/armor to buy. Essentially, you'd get all the basic weapons and armor and choose how to specialize it later.

@Klipik-Forum:

1. Agreed with padded armor /helm change. All the variety in the armors seem to focus more on stats than visual change, so why have to star at 2 star. better 3.

2. Agree with the magnus suggestion. i always believed it was suppose to be like this lol.

3. Agreed with the mist bomb suggestion, seems too much to have to start training so early with such weak effect weaponry at 2 star.

4. I really agree to this suggestion cause every alchemer does elemental damage, so starting from the prismatech alchemer seems like it make sense.

5. Agreed to "Leave Autogun, Blaster and Brandish lines unchanged.".

6. i don't agree with torto guns making out of blasters only because i feel the should not be starting with any of these guns cause their visual descriptions are too far apart. I feel they should instead have one 2 star tortogun that does normal damage and branch from there.

7. agreed, we need release for more varied play.

huh.

The idea can stop confusion amoungs newbies,

But on the 7th point i have to stop you there.
The new armour gives abit of variation (Even though you can have probabbly the same stats, minus the ctr and the debuffs, with the old gear.)

But copy-pasting the status with a reskins for Other amour and call it and update is kinda unfair, considering the wait we have to endure for the gunner's.

I would rather wait another year for better gear than copies. Sorry.

@Gunnerific: i seriously agree with you. i feel these updates and i do mean the whole entirety of the update is underwhelming to the point that only the visual effect of the new guns like the raptor or the pulsar really was the update. Everything else about these new gear feel copy and paste or recolor and add texture or aura. I mean why spend so much time on an armor that looks the same as another armor besides the color just to get a small difference in stats/defense.

I feel like there might have been a great idea in this gunner update, but then they run 10 thousand copies of this great idea and watered it down for mass production so that we can spend a long time farming so that we don't notice time passing by. sigh..i know OOO is good at re-skins when it comes to costumes but i really was hoping that this would not come to affect gameplay mechanics like a re-skin armor with 3 variation and only color changes. I mean the pulsars look awesome and the tundrus and the new model dark chaingun but compared to the armors, it's just underwhelming.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

1 if we can get a padded armor recipe with that it would be great.
2&3&4&6(&1) a long, long time ago, hazes had the path you described. I know this because I digged around searching for italian forums and found them dead. it was changed because that haze bomb was 1* and the recipe was available. why didn't they bump it to 2*? I don't know, it seems like a great idea. to me, it was a solution thoght at the moment, not a full fledged solution.
5 well, I don't have much to say on "don't change things".
7 not this avalanche of armors again please. choice is ok, but too much choice is not good. go check out some philosophers. I'd like the current armors to not have a status resistance at this point.

We just waited an entire year for copies.

And @Everyone - I agree that Gunner armors were too much of the same thing and adding 2 times more of essentially the same stuff would be way too much. Maybe instead of that, do something with Wolver, Gunslinger and Demo and redesign those lines and the gunner at the same time - but I don't think OOO will spring for making major changes to existing content.
