Soul Jellies come pretty close.
Blast Cubes. There's a distinct thing about them that makes me feel more at home whenever they show up in battle, must be their inherent lack of spikes and piercing damage. I dare say that it is a criminal tragedy that their explosive splash damage was pulled out of their dying animation, I do not see any point to that change nor not changing it back on the spot.
@Fangel: I share that sentiment as well. I have always hoped to see new types of Scuttlebots that would lay bombs or fire beams in that manner. Or sometimes even spit treasures or pickups.
@Mtax-Forum: How could Love Puppies possibly be any dangerous, however?

Lumbers. I love fighting them because they have a really easy pattern: bait their attack then attack their butt for 2 secs, and repeat.
Off Topic - My most hated enemy? Has to be zombies. They have tons of health and are just pretty boring to fight imo. You can count me out of graveyards. Not including menders, because i think everyone hates those damn menders.

Favorite to fight? Arkus. Awesome how he revives like us.
Favorite in apperance? Mewkats. All they do is meow adorably in your face until you brutally murder them to go on. OOO confirmed for animal abuse.
LEAST favorite? Lost Souls. (not the Freed ones of Apocrea) Remember the Mission involving the unknown soldier's grave? Souls exploding in your face. EVERYWHERE. And that is ALSO the place where Trojans are introduced. And don't get me STARTED on the Danger Missions...
Oh, and Gremlin Mortafirers. Go hide in a corner, will ya...

they had a chance to drop a 4 star shield and plus I like the turtle like design of them
I always liked how they were peaceful unless you attacked them as they we these peaceful titans in the game that probaly knew more about the history of the cradle if we talked to them... some how...

the tortodrone in the event can get me wrecked way faster then vanna and the shield has been on my knight since the first event...
the tortogun I have is ok... But the GU made it that when you walked faster then normal when charged insignificant to the others now
OOO please make the tortoguns buffed a bit or something

My 3 favorites
Retrodes
Love how I can Pola spam them over a gap while they still think they are hitting me with their lasers.
Or fighting mechas with Winmillon is also fun, since they will stop attacking to block every time when I attack.
Finally scorchers. Half of the time you walk straight through their fire, they are very weak, can't dodge and are compared to other gremlins extremely slow.

Menders
Gremlin menders!
Yes they are incredibly annoying with their resurrections and shields but I love the added challenge to clearing a room. Also they are the only enemies that actually seem to care and go out of their way to support their nakama unlike Silkwings which just spam heal whatever is conveniently next to them.

My favorite are...
Any and all Kats. Only exception is that one unkillable one in Candlestick Keep. (Don't know how to spell it's name.) Those Kat ghosts are so cute! The Kat that is unkillable though is a pain to avoid at times without taking damage from it, not to mention other enemies getting in the way of your ability to get the fire lit on some of the magic candles.
I agree, I hate the Lost Souls as much as anybody does. Wish they wouldn't interfere during my first fight against the 3 Trojans! Trojans are a pain on their own!

The Golden Trojan.
He didn't used to just brainlessly attack you.
As part of the Floating Gardens levels, he acted like an obstacle in one specific area. It was a three room long dead end that led to a Golden Key. The 3rd room was the key room, the 2nd and 1st levels were all closed in by gates, connected to a series of switches in the corners of each room.
The Golden Trojan would hit the switches to close the gates so you were trapped in the room with him before attempting to attack you.
All while you had to carry a Golden Key out of the Hallway to open up the next area.
Because the switches between both middle rooms were connected, this AI would also cause him to open the doors to get into the same room as you.
Probably the most advanced AI I've ever seen in this game.

I have quite a few, so I guess it's fine to go over all of them.
Tortodrones: I like the Tortodrones mainly because of their somewhat menacing look, even when non-corrupted. They look like something you would NOT want to provoke. They also remind me of the Pokemon Torkoal and Blastoise. (mind you, Blastoise is one of my favorite Pokemon, so bonus points for Tordy looking a bit like a Blastoise.) Fighting them, however...
Lord Vanaduke: While Vanaduke is a boss, the game does classify him as a monster, so, the two could go hand-in-hand. He has, in my opinion, the best design of any character in the game, and he looks really cool. Additionally, fighting him is quite fun. (but I haven't done it solo...I need a Golden Griffin.)
Mewkats: D'aww...they're so cute! I would take one, push 'em into a corner and huddle with them for the rest of the day.
Love Puppy: Free healing, and (sometimes) free health trinkets - what's not to love?
And I think that's all I got.

Favourite monster?
Greavers. I like their designs, and the marks on the status variants add a nice touch of colour. They're fast, they can swarm you, and they inflict status ailments with their nasty haze attacks. Due to this, they are pretty strong but they are also quite fragile since all it takes is a single attack to interrupt them.
They're cool and infuriating! I like 'em.

Slag Walkers. They move so slow and spawn in such great numbers. As a bomber, they're one of the most fun enemies to kill in the game. They're the reason I can still enjoy FSC.

My favorite monster is the Mecha Knight. It feels like a duel(except when there's a crowd of them, then crowd control weapons will be needed), or a sparring match, like I'm fighting myself. There needs to be a stronger version of the Mecha Knight as a Mini-Boss!
There's also the Mecha Knight kit that I like. It's a friend that helps you fight(but it needs to be buffed).
I also like Trojans because when I fight them, it's a duel (as with Mecha Knights). But when there are two Trojans, it's just an intense fight.
Another monster that I like is the Greaver. Pull out a Divine Avenger or a Barbarous Thorn Blade, and Greavers will be no problem...except when they swarm you in an arena. Then, you'll need some skill and a flame barrier/angelic aura/hexing haze.

My favourite has to be the Quicksilvers. They were great back in the half-health revive days, where you could get heat by reviving your dead allies. I would repeatedly use a Shockburst Brandish charge on the Quicksilvers so that they would kill my teammates. My Winmillion took only two days to fully heat.
They are still my favorite because they saved me a lot of grinding. Swag.

Meh...
I'd go with Devilites..they're a pain in the ass.. but they know how to fight as a group, as opposed to constructs, jellies and pretty much every other enemy that just flocks towards you. Devilites understand the use of range and movement in a fight. With that being said, they're also an incredible pain in the ass, and did I mention that they're a pain in the ass?
