The crash of the Skylark was an inside job!!!!
but who or why would someone do it? simple to win a war
someone is working with the Morai to keep keep us away from Isora as long as possible to retaliate another war!!!
with what I assume that the Skylark is the main fleet ship and it being crashed on the cradle leaves Isora easy to take over

I see 2 outcomes

So after the final boss they will add
the Skylark sets home with a new power source to save Isora only to find our home planet taken over by dirty Morai scum!!!
and now you a once nooby knight who is now a vanguard and has traveled to the core and back must take you home planet back from the Morai Threat!!
*terminator music plays*

Just as you are about to make a voyage to our home planet... The Morai come to the cradle!!!
Now the Spiral order, Crimson order, the jelly kingdom and Undercorp to work together against the new threat against the cradle (or they become tratiors only to be betrayed in the end)

BTW if it was really an inside job it was clearly redgalaxy and holy nightmare

Well, Red-Galaxy IS a terrorist. He destroyed one of the missing servers with a PROto bomb.

I'm all for the Morai coming for a battle. Unless, the Spiral Knights are just called the Morai, in which case, that makes no sense.

I think the Skylark was actually a scout/exploration ship, as it's mission was to find a power source to begin with. That is what drew them towards Cradle.
