My new favorite gun is my 5* fire pulsar - Wildfire - with ASI VH. With its knockback effect for defensive purposes and additional fire damage for offense, it's a killer weapon for all sorts of situations.

I also like the 5* autogun - Grim Repaater. Mine has VH Damage vs Slimes since that's mainly where I'll use it. Nice sound effects,and I love popping those slimes and jellies in one charged shot. Not so hot on the immobility while firing, but oh well...

I crafted a Pierce MAX pathfinder helm and chose to make it a sacred grizzly since i didn't want to have a weakness for fire, shock, or freeze. Looking forward to meeting up with the Ice Queen to introduce her to my new toys ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡

The Winter Grave

As in guns, the winter grave is the cherry on the top. It's shadow damage and pretty much guarantee on freeze. To top it all off, it passes through enemies and if it's shot from kinda far away it gives a huge knock back as well. Definitly the most useful gun ever added.
The Grim repeater is also a favorite of mine. A blitz needle but then for shadow damage. Gremlin and slimes have no more chance against me >:D
as for armor, i honestly don't know. I only have the recipes for the wolven snakebite armor one (3*). Haven't looked at the rest, but it wouldn't be surprising if the armor is good as well.

New? Well, armors are sucky and good only for costume. From guns I'd say I like my Arcana. Reliable gun; mix of polaris and argent peacemaker.
Aside of new, mostly I like changes to old weps - Callahan is now great weapon, MSI isn't bad thing.

I haven't actually tried getting any of the new guns yet. They may be different, but I don't feel like I need them. So my favorite thing is the mechanic changes. Really, I have no need for a Winter Grave when my Iron Slug is suddenly at Brandish levels of power. (And I don't even try to use it offensively!) The armors look cool, but they are more of a major pain in the butt for me. So many unneeded recipes...

This will probably make me sound like one of "those" people, but this update was a bit of a let down for me. But hey, at least I can fire Pulsars forever now! No longer do we live by the standards of 3-shot clips!

Personally, I enjoyed the money I could make from all the recipes a lot. I think I scored about 100k in a single day, and that's after having paid for the recipes I needed. Some runs got me recipes worth more than 60k in less than 10 minutes.

it only took them 3 years to give it to us.

now i can finally take devlites and wolvers with guns while still being able to keep mobile to avoid getting hit!

mtax, I explained it In bug reports, in "I found a few bugs with guns" or something like that I made
in short it deals neutral damage to vana instead of effective, like piercing should

Grimm repeater and the new magnus line charges are easily the most significant additions to the game from the standpoint of simply growth in handguns. What can gunners do now that they couldn't before? Huge area of effect attacks and massive point blank shadow damage.

The best changes however, would have to be those to the pulsar line weapons, which are now more skill oriented and less reliant on spam.

The only thing I really wonder about is why they gave some of the most popular guns (blitz, pola) both a new version (GR, perma) (and also gave blitz a huuuge buff), but left some of the less used guns (antigua, cata) still useless. The only gun that has been upgraded from "completely stupid" to "very good" is the Magnus line.

It's hard for me to choose a single favourite. Magnus is now a great choice, as its name suggests, and has a shadow alter ego that scratches an itch I've had for a long time. OTOH, the new Autogun line is really growing on me. It's silly, and the sound is very pleasantly soft.

I guess my favourite thing right now is that I'm back to not having a very tiny set of "must-have" weapons. (Umbra, Prisma, Needle, Pepper)

I love everything

But I'd have to go for the Shade sets and the Grim Repeater. Mostly the Grim Repeater, that weapon is the coolest thing in the game.
Shame we don't get a special two-handing animation for it :c

My favourite is that bombs still have less support than any of weapon, and that there were way too many guns BEFORE the update.

Well...

All we still need is a piercing Pulsar (spiky balloon shooter or something like that) and an elemental Autogun, then we will never need anything else again /cheer
