I just realized how strict the forums of websites can be.

I have a smogon account and like to be with the community in the forums, but every single thread, I made around 6 by the way, got locked in 10 minutes. And most of the comments I made got deleted. I read everything about the rules, but dang let your brother breath for a second. Im just glad the spiral knights forums actually give you freedom of speech, unlike the 48 hour time limit forums which im pretty sure have been 12 before they locked it.

The SK forum community is one of the least toxic I've encountered. It really is nice to have actual discussions instead of flame wars :/

The forum rules of Tanki Online include the banning of all curse words, talking about admins, or discussing the political and military figures of Germany in the 1940s. If a thread seems useless, even in General, its gets locked by a Mod flaunting a link to a topic about the same thing.

Yea, these forums are pretty self regulated. :D

Bout the giveaway, I thought you would be putting the post # of the posters in a generator instead of them picking numbers themselves.

I was going to actually use the number of comments and put them on a random generator to determine the winner. Where they got the numbers for themselves I have no idea.

6) If your giveaway requests that users answer a question to participate please make sure that the question has a definite researchable answer. Do not make questions that rely on pure guesswork, such as picking a number between 1 and 1,000.

That is the weirdest forum rule I've ever seen...

Stupid rule considering any idiot can just use google and win first post. This is why it's a Raffle, or a Lottery; you can't guarantee a win in those.

Nintendo's got all their games under the childproof-engraved lock and key, so I don't see the problem.

Completely ruined Swapnote...

Next thing you know, they won't let you input numbers in the form of numerical values.
On a side note, the Pokemon Community is a lot bigger than I thought it was.
Oh, and Helix Fossil.

Humorously, the only rules the GMs really runs are-

1) No cursing

2) Don't do anything terrible (i.e. tell people to off themselves, name and shame, etc.)

It really goes to show how unnecessary moderation is the bulk of the time. Every time I've encountered it here, I've been incredibly angry at myself for things not working out 100% perfectly.

Oh, and Smogon is crazy because they're all that guy! Have you seen them? Have you met them? In real life? Because I have..............................

@Hexzyle

Yeah, I always try to name my character my favorite profanity (The sixth letter is my favorite!), and am peeved when I get filtered. It just kills it, when we're all sitting there entering our names into super smash bros and I have to move the space in Duck Hunt a bit instead of entering the name that my parent(s) gave me. At least I can still dream in colour, regardless of the colour restrictions placed onto my name.

"Yeah, I always try to name my character my favorite profanity, and am peeved when I get filtered. " Well of coarse! They don't want their charecters to be named bad things! :P
