I was waiting for somebody right next to the AH when I saw something weird,
I thought it might be a glitch but I asked right away if someone else saw it and 2 people said they saw it too.
It was something like the effect of the Obsidian Edge charged attack (http://wiki.spiralknights.com/images/3/35/Obsidian_edge.gif), but going underground.
From there on I have been trying to follow it, but I always end up losing it.
Does anyone know what it could be?
Grasping aura.
SK has a strange phenomenon where various off screen graphical effects seem to get queued up and played back later when you move about.

I'd like to recall that similar auras which leave trails after them do the same, actually.
Yeah, its just the grasping aura
If the animation isn't complete when you move away it finishes next time you go near it
I have the aura and it happens a lot
(Another bug is that you get a light colored box around you in freeze like places)
Player1 says:"I think it's similar auras".
Player2 says:"It's all trailed auras".
Player3 ignorantly says :"it's just the grasping aura".
All auras that leave trails are like this. Even the dust particles Instantiated by player walking is like this(since it's a trail). Don't try to argue, I've seen most of the trail auras.
I like to run around in haven w/ my aura just to mess w/ ppl. :D

If the events rotate as they usually do, then I believe the Tortodrones are to be expected next... but I'd have to go back and check. I'm not massively excited for any of them but then I'm not really massively excited for anything, really.

Sure it is. The OP speculates that the next event will be Apocrea, but if the events are rotating and the next event isn't Apocrea, then it should seem likely that the next event will be something other than Apocrea such as March of the Tortodrones.
The blurb about your name that you put in the subject box on the other hand is purely spam. If you want to be called that you should just use that knight and if there are issues with choosing that knight call upon support or make an account called something like "Forums_Voltorborak" or whatever you'd like to be called and use that instead.

@Everyone, this not only happens with all trailed auras, but regular footprints as well.
@fehzor I stated in another thread that armorgames things don't work and can't be converted to the official site so I can't do that in any way shape or form unless I delete that knight and start a new one, which I'm not doing, ever
And no one speculated about the event, OP simply asked what the trail was
He was suggesting creating a knight (on Oohnorak's account) named: "Vohtarak-Forum" or something like that.

Since "IT" can not be proven to actually be coming, then it is speculation. And since this is a thread about a Aura trail that looks like the Obsidian blade's charge, which came from the Apocrean event, then one can reasonably assume that the "IT" implied the Apocrean event. It's called deductive reasoning. Hopefully one can do that process faster in their head than they can from reading what I just wrote.
