Hardest in what way?
There are some people that I just can't seem to beat on my own (ie. without distraction), even when I happen to have perfect prediction.
I would say Dutch Oven for Guardian, Bonbonn (is he an alt?) for Recon, and countless people for Striker.

You have a bunch of infantry with assault rifles fighting a squadron of tanks. The fight is not challenging for the infantry because the tanks have an unfair advantage. What kind of logic is that?
The OP asked for challenging players, not skilled players.

AT makes a fair point. The distinction between skilled and effective players is one often ignored because "AT is for noobs" even though AT players may very well be a carrying force and often be part of determining which team wins a game.

Bullpig and Epic-Legend-Knight in just straight up duels.
Van-Winkle and Evenics are hard to approach, so I often lose or just walk away. Evenics in particular deserves special mention, because the one night I played multiple matches against them, I ended up having capture battles as opposed to duels. Plus respect for another BTB/Nova player.
I know who uses AT and cannot be asked to really care. That is all off the top of my head for recent LD.
