i would like just to know the reasons that make polaris the most hated wep in LD. how it can cuz lag? which i find that impossible...
why anyone use pola called unskilled? what the mean of being skilled then? already i believe nothing called skilled player.
why pola so diffrent from other guns? which i find valianca and his family soo annoying and spamful. remind me the word(spam) dose everyone for real know wht its mean to use r say it?
also isnt comlaining about a wep and his user just becuz you could beat him/her while using it a weak point from you? why everyone complaining in LD?
if someone just said for me plz Mana i would like to enjoy the game but your pola make me sad can you stop for a bit? but no once i shot a few bults everyone start saying all kind of words. btw guys do you know how polaris spam look like. im sure most of you dosent btw any kind of polaris play called spam for you. if you can eally called your self a skilled or pro or strong or anything then beat me without complaining btw your complain dont affect and will never do....
i got sick of it for everyone friend or not this is my playing style if you have problem find a resolve i will ignore anyone complain about my pola i dont want to hear such nonsence talk anymore.

Fist off :
1.Pola is not a problem if its one but when a whole team 'SPAMS' it then that causes both huge lag and also its annoying because it covers the whole screen .
2.Also players hate pola because of the way some players abuse of it by just shooting randomly.
Another reason why players complain is because pola can move away the enemy from an allies hit which they can find annoying(I do that at times it ap :P)
3.But for me is mainly due to lag I don't mind it but the lag which it causes its just annoying my bars are on 4 but my fps end up dropping from 30 to lower than 10 when someone spams mainly pola

They way it causes lag is because when shooting you are spawning a bullet in the game that bullet has a script/logic brick which runs in order to detect and trigger the bullet to get bigger if too many of those big bullet end up getting shot at the same time the script will take quite a big amount of memory to run the script and display the bullets so this =lag.

-Spamming is much more effective than with other guns because the bullets are so big.
-Causes fps drops (which people call "lag") on lower-powered computers because of the large particle effect.
-Shock is really annoying, and Polaris inflicts it fairly frequently.
-Multiple people using it creates impassable walls of shocking painful blue death.
-It is easy to catch someone off guard and kill them quickly, making it a weapon that can reward luck over skill (not always though).
-At first glance, they seem very hard to counter, even though in reality they are not really much of a threat to an experienced player.

If you need to mindlessly shoot a gun that has an obnoxiously flashy graphic that makes any affordable computer have an aneurysm, have an explosion radius that is rather misleading for the graphic itself, take no effort to use whatsoever, provide absolutely no help to either you or your teammates when in the hands of someone who thinks its a "guaranteed win" to just shoot three times without any thought, and be the absolute definition of anti-fun, then by all means, go ahead. Just don't cry when someone does it better than you, because they're actually thinking about what they're doing.

Makes people lag, very easy for the wielder to use (literally requires a finger and a mouse to poke as many times as you can), it's annoying to deal with due to knockback, statuses, the area of effect of the pulses and etc. And if you really don't know why it causes graphical lag for some people, it's simply because not everybody has a powerful enough video card to take the amount of particles being splashed at the screen constantly.

Don't stop your polaris if you don't want to, you know how many insults did I receive and I never stopped doing it? Just have a bit of personality, I don't see a reason to complain about pola if it isn't even spam.

You can do what Bley said, or you can be nice enough not to piss off almost the entire SK community for using a broken gun line with a broken status.

I have respect for all players who doesn't use AT or Pulsar line. I can expect others not to use them on me because I don't use it on them. But SK is not like that. It's full of inconsiderate jerks who prioritate their "lack of skill"-fun over everyone else.

Polaris doesn't make me lag but I have respect for people with crappy laptops.

The lag things is bs, I have a crappy laptop and Pulsar spam doesn't do anything, other weapons like nitronome are way worse. The recon cloak "generates" lag for some people too so let's call recons noobs too.

I see I'm late to the party so I'll just reply to Contri: Nitronome isn't a viable weapon and is not used at all as much as LD, even though you may be correct. I reckon Polaris is (at least on US) more common than Recon as well.

you are mistaken polaris not common on US games anymore. now they are 1or2 recon players every game at least to 1polaris spammer and that one is me already some games are nonpolaris while they are many recons. the reason is gunner update specially the movement speed while using guns very helpful for any recon player.

well like most players I think I have labtop but using the officer PC when I play SK simple I never played SK before on my laptop from the start I dislike playing on it ruining my playing...about respect someone who have crappy labtop are you really worth my respect... most players start saying all kinds of bad words when I just shoot few pola bults while capping which make me mad and start ignoring whatever ppl say and spam pola so badly including you irillusion...
until now I couldn't find any worthy reason to stop pola or complain about it dodge pola bults not a hard work as I experienced from other players and myself as well. after deep thinking no one spam pola the one one who do is me. its rare very rare to face apola spammer and most times anoob easy to kill but still other players got mad at him. even to inexperienced player heeee....

I must say I have some trouble understanding your posts, and if I read your post correctly, you said pola is not hard to dodge

Plz go against mitzhawk and xpect together and then we'll talk

And if you ask me, pola makes LD games worse. Many pola spammers (actually all) just run away from you when you try to get them. It's like you are playing against flash with a hand full of rocks xD (bad example, ik. For those who don't get it, flash run away when you try to get him and then throws rocks at you)

are you saying i shouldnt run when someone try to fight me. well i dont run but i keep moving around like most players i dont want to die. like i will stand in my place until they hit me then i move ...
also i have played too many polaris wars. to be honest i never seen mitz spamming polaris before as he dont play LD too much now. simplest way to dodge many polaris at once is dashing into them but you need timing. for me its dont matter how many polaris spammer fighting me. but i cant bat them all :P but its still fun.

A single game does not determine patterns which have been observed for years. That's like saying that proto is a viable set for Lockdown since I saw two people use it for three games once.
