We have a wiki. It's not perfect, but it should be your first option for learning about specific items, monsters, etc.
There are three kinds of supply pack, but they're all basically the same, and their purpose is explained on their wiki pages --- for example,

Cake is a LIE
Basically useless since prestige is useless. If prestige becomes something that unlocks item shops in the future (or something useful) then these would be useful.
Basically you got ripped off......
one of the daily prestige mission needs it. Your mission rank would determine which kind is needed.
