You need to pull a 1337
Duh, it's simple really.
Find a full party, do the Roar. Twins and bring as many stun vials and stun weapons as you can.
Stun them as much as possible. Watch your team leader kick you.
I'm pretty sure there's a max amount of damage you can do per vulnerability stage. Charge shots from my mega tundrus make him instantly get back up and almost always move him to the next phase.
