It's just a scenario room in poison clockwork tunnels.

This isn't the first time that something like this happens, It would seem to me that we want new content so badly that whenever there's any kind of update we see some things as new content even though they were already there for some time...

I've been playing this game
I've been playing this game for 4200 hours and have yet to witness that scenario room.
Is it just me or scenario rooms too rare? They only show up in randomized levels in specific areas MAYBE.
Provided that they only appear in certain depths if they don't rotate away...
On one hand it's supposed to keep the game fresh, but it feels unbalanced that super rare rooms provide the same pay out as standard rooms or less.
I want to meet that room...

Most people don't hit the arcade that much.
I've run into the poison room about 4 times so far.
Personally, I like the compound stalker trap room, which I've only run into 2 times.

I found that one for the first time late last year.
On a related note, is this one new? It doesn't really look that special but I can't remember seeing it before. Poison Compounds, D20.

Not new there either
As an avid arcade runner, that compound layout is just a standard compound situation. People tend to avoid compounds like the plague, however they feel like they have the most varied scenario rooms. There's a mecha-knight one that's pretty cool. I also love the one with the defeated tortodrone below in clockwork tunnels with a bunch of downed gremlins and mecha knights.

I'm not sure about that. I encountered it for the first time something like a week ago and since then I've seen it multiple times, so it might have been added recently. But I haven't been playing for a long time yet, so don't trust me with this stuff.
It's sure however that from time to time new new rooms get added.

As a professional compound sweeper I can say with complete confidence that that room is not new.
Encountered that around a few months ago.
