This is just going to be a short list from me but if you want to add feel free. (provided your complaints are aimed at low tier missions, or items, etc.)

Punch/Pummel gun vs Magnus: These used to be basically the exact same weapons (mechanic-wise), after the GU both no longer knock you prone but the Magnus charge bullets now plow through enemies while the Punch and Pummel guns are left the same. Why do this? This gives new players the wrong impression of this type of gun. When they get to the HOH and see the Magnus (which obviously looks similar to Punch/Pummel guns) they will remember that trash gun handed to them and not spend their CR on it (or their CE for that matter).

Lack of bomb diversity: all T1 bombs are basically blast bombs. In this game we have so many types of bombs yet new players are only given one. New players are also not given any bomb boosting gear in T1 (but they are given Gun and Sword boosting gear). Plus they aren't even made to use the bomb in the tutorial, basically Rhendon hands you a bomb, explains the mechanics, and then sends you off to Haven with no actual experience in fighting monsters with that bomb.

Non enforced tutorials: Basically players skip through the tutorials and then plague the rest of the knights in the game with questions that the tutorials answered. The Speech prior to the Vanaduke battle and the Arkus battle is enforced. Tutorials are just as important as the story if not a bit more.

im vohtarak, call me by that name

I didn't know about the punch/pummel gun problem
That really needs to be fixed, heavy guns are way more useful than before

About tutorials, that really needs to be mandatory, I've seen defender elites who don't know how enemies are affected by damage types, some didn't even know if it was Kora or Hahn who tell you about missions

I don't think punch/pummel

I don't think punch/pummel guns are actually handed out as quest rewards, but yeah, they ought to operate like the magnus.

I think T1 bombs and all other low-level bombs deserve a slight AOE buff as well, the most area being added to the low levels and very little if any being added to the 4* etc bombs.

Instead of forced dialogue tutorials, it's always better to go for passive teaching. Look at the platformer metroid games; the opening stage of super metroid is full of little bumps and whatnot to get you used to jumping, Ridley teaches you how to aim, and most of the powerups have some related puzzle next to them, etc. They tried doing this with bombs I think; as I recall, they once had a level that went along with that bomb where you'd kill a bunch of minis and learn how useful the weapons were at crowd control. The problem was that all it really taught was how dam small low-level bombs are and how easy it is to kill minis. That said, I still would rather go for passive or ingame tutorials; having Rhendon or some other NPC give advice mid-battle might be more appealing.

punch/pummel

I think it might have been an old mission reward (mine has CTR high); anyway those who purchase this gun are seriously ripped off (for young players 150 or 3000 CR is a fair bit). Just represent guns as what they are at 5 star levels.

Proto gun = Valiance same mechanics
Chilling duelist = Antigua lines same mechanics
Punch gun = Magnus types different mechanics

Er

Heads' up, Chilling duelist is part of a paid package. For the most part newbies don't really start paying money right up front.

However I get what you mean. If the proto duelist had made it to the full server from the testing server then that would be a bit more obvious of a problem. Punch guns should get the new changes.
