I don't know if it happened to you buy it's happening to me and some friends I talked to.

I used to perform quite well in lockdown but for some weeks I've been sucking and sucking.
For instance , 1 v 4ing was for me a pleasure and a challenge I was proud of when Isucceeded but now I may not be able to beat only 1 player( that may be not particulary good).

I don't know if it's rustiness, ( I didnt stop playing though) but even if I try, I still can't do much.

So, if you have some advices or experiences of this, please tell us ( I'm not the only one in the case).

Well, knowing how well you play LD, I think you'd be the best person for determining what you're doing wrong. I suppose us others could help, but I think we'd need more info. You aren't saying much other than that you feel like you've gotten worse at LD.

Analyse your fights, think about your errors, and try to not repeat them to improve. That's what you always should do, whether you're a newbie, a pro, or someone in your situation.

New meta in LD mate.

Picked up TF2 again and after 1 hour I was top scoring as Demoknight (a very underused subclass). I do keep in touch with TF2 by checking out "lets play" videos but I haven't played in 2 years.

You could blame the new guns, you just need to adapt to the new meta.

I guess, the circumstances

I guess, the circumstances I'm playing in may have an impact ( uncomfortable chair instead of armchair..)

I noticed it's especially my reactivity that has got worse. I am always hit or hit back before I have time to react while my precision doesnt seem to have been that lowered...

But still, I really don't know how to..."cure" it.

I hear alcohol in small amounts can increase your performance when it comes to stuff like this. Try to be a bit tipsy whenever you play, just like Contri.

You
Lag?
have Issue with connection?

if yes then that's the reason
I usually reset my skills each week and change into a new one,if you did the same
you will end up with mixing it up too much which lead you not to be able to fight like before.

+Are you sure of what you say ?
At times the team which you fight can greatly affect a players performance.

-did you change gaming setup ?

Lel but i see no reason to be so depresses its just like heavyweight training keep practicing and you will get better.

Are you sure it's your reaction issue and not your character's? With SK servers you never know. I swear it sometimes it treats me better than other times when the number of bars I see is the same. The difference is small enough you don't notice it in PvE, but in Lockdown every little bit counts.

In my experience Lockdown is kind of like riding a bike. Once you get to certain familiarity it's really hard to lose all your skills after a long hiatus.

Just a few weeks back I played very well with Recon. Now I suck.

I know why.

It's all psychological. When you boast about your skill, or make forum threads or posts that you think are because your skills are so great, chances are you'll start to slack. Best way to preserve your skill is to not boast, not make "conpetitive" or "skillful" posts and threads. Also, in Lockdown, do not brag about your skills or talk to others about it. Do not make comments during Lockdown like "Hey guys look at what I'm wearing it makes me so good at Lockdown!" Chances are if you continue with boastful comments, that you will slip off course.

The reason why players play so well is because they try to be accepted by the Lockdown society. When you have been complimented by somebody, you'll feel recognized and stop trying.

I've seen you around

your major problem is that you type too much in matches so the focus isn't there.
