Is this a know issue/intended mechanic?
Happened to me twice today and blew 6-7k ce in value..
I selected a specific coat to upgrade from 4* to 5*
I don't have enough orbs to upgrade and it prompts me to buy some with ce
I buy some with ce, and proceed to upgrade
The item I get back is of another 4* coat (Not the one i selected with the specific UV, but a different 4* coat)
Perhaps I should've checked again after i bought the orbs but one would not expect the item selected to reset after purchasing more orbs from the orb popup prompt
I wish to bring this to attention so it doesn't happen to anyone else.. really sucked for me to lose all that value (not to mention the 100's of fire bought to heat up on top of the 6-7k CE)
Should I be able to get some sort of compensation or not really? At the very least i hope this is fixed/refined or made more clear at least
I would contact a gm about it, just explain the situation. They usually offer a courtesy "do-over" if you ask nicely and it's clear you are sincere with your request. I've had this particular problem before, but never cost me THAT much to fix. What UVs did you have that cost you 43ke? The one time I asked for a rollback was when I vendored a 5* trinket and they obliged.
I hope they change this too, it's not great. This is more about the crafting system being not 100% refined rather than a bug. Simply showing the full item stats without having to hover over would help. I really hate mystery meat buttons :|
