I'm super new to the game and all this energy stuff got me confused. Is 1 CE = 100 ME or is 1 CE = 1 ME? I asked people in game and they couldn't give me an answer. Thanks in advance.

It's 1 CE to 1 ME.

The difference is that ME regenerates over time, but you can only hold 100 ME maximum. You can have as much CE as you can afford. They're both used for the same things (gates, crafting etc.) but sometimes you'll need more than 100 energy, so you have to get CE.
