Question of the day!

Put on proto gear and then run in circles like a chicken with it's head cut off

If it is just the boss itself I might vote for Darkfire Vanaduke.... but the way the room is laid out it doesn't offer environmental challenges.
When it comes to the design of the room and the support the boss get from allies I would have to say the final Mount Krampus Battlepod takes the cake. The spikes, snow, rockets, deathmarking stalkers all combined with the small space you have when you engage the battlepod make this boss terrible to fight. With the long shield timer and the respawning menders you have only a small window of time to deal significant damage before it is healed away. This might not be so bad if enemies weren't constantly getting in your way when you tried to do this. The Final battlepod is horribly difficult.

For regular bosses, I would say the Roarmulus Twins. It involves a lot of communication, teamwork, shielding, and dps.
For an SL boss, I would say the twin snarbos, because 2 snarbys, 1 bell. It's confusing until you kill one.

The hardest boss? My wife on Saturday afternoon, if I don't get my chores done Saturday morning.
(Speaking of whom, why am I reading this board now?)

waiting for rt to shoot each other. also those damn respawning surgebots.

Lockdowned 1 vs. 11? I don't think that's possible, but if it were I suppose I would lose quickly. Maybe I would respawn a lot and make a show of it, but the end would be inevitable. Each of my 11 opponents would get up to 100 rank points, 2 Krogmo coins, and 280 crowns (assuming no bribes were involved). I would get few (if any) rank points, 1 Krogmo coin, and no crowns.
Or the reverse, if I somehow defied the odds and managed to take and keep the flags instead. The world may end before that happens.
(Edit: I like the chicken response even better. vvv)
