::POLL!:: Which armour type do you think is best?

Elemental, shadow or piercing? Leaving out normal for this. I think most people would just go for normal because it comes with most armour sets and the big three swords (DA, GF, Chacaron) deal half normal. I'm interested in which of the other types you would choose if you had to stick with just one, regardless of what status or offensive bonuses you might lose out on (lets just pretend there are ele and pierce versions of the BK set).

The locations appear to be approximate but that's a real jerk move from that site's side given that they don't say anything about storing your IP and getting your location with it. I suggest using strawpoll and abandoning the used site straight away.

i voted for piercing but idk if you want us to discuss here as well.

anyway, i think piercing is the most important, because final flourish and barbarous thorn blade are the staple of any good loadout (in my opinion)
they are usually the main weapon, wether it be flourish + gf, or flourish + guns, or a mix of the two, or even with bombs! you will see most strikers and many guardians wielding flourishes. flourish is also a very quick weapon with a wide range, making it hard to dodge compared to say a brandish. for this reason i think you should have protection from it.
