After doing Vana x100 and all the Shadow Lairs and the Expansion content, I quit SK (about a year and a half ago). I've kept tabs on the announcements, briefly logged in during the gunner update, but this latest update has actually gotten me to log in and keep playing! Wonderful memories are coming back to me.

Wow, way to take it personally. Having played SK since before there were missions, and hence, only arcades, you can imagine it gets boring after 2 years. I meant to show gratitude for the direction SK is going.

No idea what's going on here. Off topic, but which of the new missions did you like best? Personally, I loved the Recruits mission. Damn the Collector is a fun boss.

@Dusk: The Unknown Passage is undoubtedly a fun stage to do. But the complete lack of any kind of reward hurts.

He said he completed all the Shadow Lairs, which means he had to have gone into the Arcade at least 4 times. So not only are you not paying attention to what he's saying, you're acting like he's not paying attention to the world around him.

He never complained that there's no content. In fact, he listed quite a long string of content that he had already completed. He did imply he went into the arcade, because he completed Shadow Lairs. So not only are you refusing to admit that you may have been even slightly wrong, but you're ignoring the stuff the OP had said.
So yes, I think you were being rude. You may not have been thinking these things, but these are the things you implied. Just because you weren't being intentionally rude doesn't mean it wasn't rude.
