If Vog would be an monster, it probably would be pretty big and powerful. Definetely want to fight it.

Vog is a diety, i.e. a sort of god. There were Vog Cubs, as seen in the ancient trailer of the game, but those weren't incarnations of Vog itself. The shape of Vog is as far as I know unknown, but we know that Vog is a fiery diety and seems to like wolvers. When you ask what Vog is if not a wolver but still has fangs, I think you're getting ahead of yourself. The name of the sword, Fang of Vog, is probably metaphorical. It's clearly a sword and not an actual fang.
My guess is that Vog is a shape shifting creature, who just tends to favour wolvers or predator beasts in general.

There is some probablity that fang of vog is an actuall tooth of an volcanic creature. It's pretty big (so the mough would be giant but still small enough to be a monster) with tooth-y shape and it possess some type of power - charge, might be being remnant of its giant power.
