"Knights, you must be the square root of 2, because we feel irrational around you." ~Feb. 11 patch notes (Steam)
That has got to be literally the most nerdy pun I have ever read in my life.

That doesn't quite cut it. You see, I totally didn't see it coming. Real isn't really referring to an actual number. The square root of 2 is an irrational number. You say infinite sum, but that's not exactly...funny. I guess?
I mean, it kinda kicks you, in a sense. In OOO's pun, you read the first part, and are perplexed at first. Then you get to the second part, and there's the punch line. It builds. And it's also incredibly corny.
And I don't even get the 'simply' part...
I still kind of don't get it, why do you feel irrational around an irrational number? Yeah...corny puns are not my thing. I'm not sure that's a nerdy pun though, I think most people know the square root of 2 is irrational? Such a punny pun. I'm still trying to figure it out.
I guess I'm a nerd? Negative numbers have no square root?
Math impinges on this game in manifold ways. It is clear that Herex suffers from derangement and Cold Iron Vanquisher from a chain complex. We explore the Clockworks using the method of descent. Combuster and Acheron are for lazy players; they are a lax pair. I could continue with this scheme indefinitely. But then math is my field.
After Bopp's comment, integrating more math puns into the game is just derivative work.
Let's be real here, I could easily make an infinite sum of additional math puns that are simply just as nerdy.
